All I knew was that there was a string
This end of which was in my hand
Where was the other end?
Everything was invisible
No matter how much I pulled it
No matter how much I shook it
There was no tension anywhere in the string
However
There was tension
In my body
There was so much fear too
And that too unknown
That I was not able to let go of the string
Then like a thought
I don't know how
And I realized that the string was not a string at all
It was a finger of some demon
My movements
Even walking
Was in the control of that finger
I myself
As if under his spell
Because of his amazing intimacy
Through his fingers
Sadness was continuously coming down
In my body
That was constantly building up
And I was accepting them
To the extent of sacrifice.
How harsh is the understanding of truth
I had come to know.
In a single stroke
I had shaken off that demon's finger
Surprise!
There was no fear, no tension
I was calm
Even my sadness had sacrificed itself on me
