For this week’s entry, I’ll be performing “Trust in You” by Fred Hammond, a song that holds a very special place in my heart. Every time I listen to or sing this song, I’m reminded of my days in the choir — the rehearsals, the harmonies, and the beautiful journey of learning from so many talented singers. Fred Hammond was one of my greatest inspirations back then, and his music taught me what it truly means to sing from the soul.
“Trust in You” is more than just a song for me; it’s a reminder of faith, surrender, and confidence in God even when things don’t make sense. It reconnects me to that pure, spiritual joy that made me fall in love with singing in the first place.
