What's up up people, I am Ekaluo and for the vibes web3 music competition week 33, I'll be singing the song Lonely at the Top by Asake. Asake is a Nigerian musician of Yoruba ethnicity who uses pidgin English and Yoruba languages in a majority of his songs.
“Lonely at the Top” has a blend of pidgin English and Yoruba and today, I'll be sharing with you an acoustic rendition of this song by Asake. My Yoruba is not fluent so I beg for pardon from the denizens if I mispronounce any word.
The song "Lonely at the Top" talks about how lonely it gets after a person has succeeded in life. However, Asake emphasises that irrespective of how lonely it may get, one should remain focused on their goals because it's better to be lonely and rich than lonely and poor.
