For my Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 43 entry, I chose to perform the timeless worship song “As the Deer.” This song has always held a special place in my heart because it captures a deep longing for God — a pure and intimate expression of worship that transcends time and style.
In my performance, I aimed to create a simple yet deeply emotional atmosphere. I played the piano softly to complement the flow of the melody, letting every note breathe and echo with meaning. My goal was to bring out the heart of the song — the thirst for God’s presence — in a way that listeners could personally connect with.
“As the Deer” is not just a song; it’s a prayer, a reflection of the believer’s soul yearning for closeness with the Creator. I wanted my rendition to remind everyone that worship is not about perfection, but about sincerity and connection.
Through this entry, I hope to inspire others to return to that quiet place of devotion — where music becomes prayer and melody becomes worship. Thank you to the Vibes Web3 community for giving artists like me the platform to share music that touches lives.
