Hey everyone! It me again lorah, and this is my entry for the Vibes Web3 Music Competition, Week 38.
First off, a big congratulations to the winners of Week 37! I was honestly so excited last week because I made it to the Top 15 — and that was a big deal for me. It was my first time, and it just reminded me that consistency really does pay off.
Now to this week’s entry I chose “Rescue” by Lauren Daigle(a gospel song). Now let me tell you guys how i picked the song. After the Top 6 list came out, I was super nervous to check if my name was there. Sadly, it wasn’t, and I won’t lie, I felt really down.
So I opened TikTok to distract myself a bit, and the first video I saw was from that guy (I can’t remember his name right now) he always reminds people of old songs and starts with “Do you remember…?”
And that day, he sang: rescue
The moment I heard that, I just knew this is my Week 38 song.
It felt like a message. A reminder that even when things don’t go as expected, you don’t stop. It’s a reminder that God cares enough to chase after you, no matter how far you’ve fallen.
And also shows that no matter how far gone you feel, God is always watching over us,ready to come to our rescue, even if you don’t call out.
So yeah, that’s the story behind this week’s entry. I hope it blesses you, and I hope you enjoy it.
