Vibes Web3 Music Competition Week 41 - CIRCLES (Cover)
Finally..!! I almost gave up on making an entry for this week because of the health challenge I was battling with from last week. Throughout the year I've not felt sick until recently after donating blood at the hospital, it was as if I broke the line of defence that has been fighting sickness away for me through the year but I don't think that's completely the cause. I'm much better now although you might be able to sense the cough and catarhh from my voice, I still manage to come in with my entry anyways. I hope it blesses you for what it's worth. Thank you..
CIRCLES!! There's this thing about Circles, they either influence you positively or negatively, if you keep the wrong circles, you might have to bare the consequences someday, either you fall into crime, robbery, cultism or even be shot death for the mistakes you call lifestyle.
The song I bring to you all for my week 41 entry is titled "Circles" by Gemstone. It's a clear reference to what the Bible says "those who lived by the sword, will die by the sword". It became a nightmare for the young man who took out a nasty operation with his gangs, executing the family of a strong spirited boy who later took vengeance into his hands. The results of gun shootings from these gangbangs leaves innocent people victims of their crimes and as such, it calls for intercession for our folks whom the devil has manipulated their hearts towards the wrong direction, I pray it never gets too late before the light shines on them..

The Bible say it's based upon your faith
They raise us to be apes
We pray if you don't run for your survival
And half of us ain't never gon' escape
Through all of it I smile

Today I stare the devil in his face, no longer in denial
I know the gift I got is God-given, too talented to let it go to waste
The coffin holds the child
A 7-minute shootout at his wake
The parents need an exit to escape
They runnin' through the aisles
Time to pull another black suit out
They shot a pregnant mother in her face
The thought of it is wild
Seven shot but only took two out
Fled the scene and never left a trace
It never went to trial
These murder scene's especially when school out
It hurts to see this happen to my race
Maybe it's in the water, maybe it's in the weed
Maybe it's some kind of disorder that's within the seed
Let's rectify the horror, they petrified to read
Their minds are out of order, they lackin' what they need
They dyin' right before us, detectives catchin' leads
They mothers lyin' for 'em, they justify they deeds
They out here dyin' for it, they so caught up in greed
They bound to rob you for it, give it up or bleed

These children's minds are bored, if only they would heed

Killing everywhere some you wonder why some you can't even say a word about it.
There's no value on life anymore.
