A Step Forward on the Path of Card Leveling – Experience in Developing Chaos Jailer
Every player in the online gaming world has their own goal. Some peoples goal is increase their rank, some people’s goal is earn more rewards, and for some, the most important thing is gradually strengthen their cards. The same is true for me. Currently my main goal is level up each card step by step so I can perform better every battle in future. With that goal in mind, I have made an important decision today develop my Chaos Jailer card.
Why is the Chaos Jailer card important
Chaos Jailer is a powerful and strategic card among cards in the Chaos Legion set in Splinterlands game. It is basically an Orc-type melee card, which has strong attack power and good defense. Sometimes, a card is needed in a battle that will not only hit, but also be able to survive the opponent’s attacks. Chaos Jailer is just that kind of card.
This card is especially effective in battles with medium to high mana caps. Because it shows a good combination of health and armor. So I was keeping a special eye on this card from the beginning.
Decision to level up
Today, when I had enough Chaos Jailer cards, I decided to level up this card. As you can see in 5 cards are being combined together create a Level 2 card. Combining cards in Splinterlands is an important decision, because once combined, it cannot be undone.
The screen clearly said—
“This will combine 5 cards into one at level 2 with 0/9 cards toward level 3. This cannot be undone.”
Seeing this warning, it is clear that the game gives the player a chance to think carefully before making a decision. I also clicked the Combine button after thinking about it.
The feeling of reaching Level 2
When the combine process was finished and my Chaos Jailer card reached Level 2, it felt really good. Because it is not just a card level increase, but a successful step in my long-term plan.
As the level increases, the card's power improves more than before. Stat changes are very important, because they determine the outcome of the battle.
New abilities are unlocked
The most interesting thing after the Chaos Jailer card reached Level 2 was the emergence of new abilities. The biggest advantage of leveling up in Splinterlands is getting new skills or abilities.
These new abilities not only make the card stronger, but can completely change the strategy of the battle. Where before the card was just a simple melee fighter, now it has become a more effective tactical unit.
