This was one or two weeks ago, but I happened to finally try out this famous Valorant shooter as a few friends were playing it on a team and decided to give it a shot as it was a free-to-play game.
The very first match I played, which I did alone with randoms, was a complete and absolute utter disaster. But after playing it with those friends in voice chat, I definitely enjoyed it way more than before. Specially now that I had some of those coaching me in using properly my smoke bombs as Brimstone and positioning.
...I still played pretty rough most of the time, either being a shotgun/phantom-wielding knucklehead rushing to attack, or trying to move slowly and poke with a properly aimed weapon...only to get instantly shot down by someone coming through or being hit in the face with some ability before dying to something I couldn't see.
But it still brought some funny moments, even if there were quite a few of those matches played where my friends, most having more time than me playing but still not experts at the game, being dismantled by one or two experts in certain matches.
Esto fue hace uno o dos semanas atrás, pero finalmente probé este famoso shooter Valorant ya que algunos amigos lo estaban probando en equipo y decidí probarlo con ellos ya que era gratis. La primera partida que jugué, solo con randoms, fue un desastre catastrófico. Pero después de jugarlo con mis amigos en chat de voz, lo disfruté mucho más que antes. Especialmente ahora que algunos de esos me daban consejos para posicionarme y usar las bombas de humo con Brimstone.
...Aún jugué de forma bastante brusca la mayoría del tiempo, siendo un cabezadura con escopeta/Phantom rusheando para atacar, o intentar moverme lentamente y pokear con un arma apropiadamente apuntada...solo para recibir un headshot inmediato de alguien que venía o recibir una abilidad en la cara antes de morir por alguien que no pude ver.
A pesar de eso, aún me trajo varios momentos graciosos, aún si en unas cuantas de esas partidas que jugue con mis amigos, quienes llevan más tiempo que yo jugando pero aún no son expertos, fueron desmantelados por uno o dos expertos en algunas partidas.
There was this one moment where we were four and one random Jehtt with us where we played as the Attackers (planting the spike/bomb), and we managed to reach the site...but the Jehtt carried the bomb and for some reason didn't plant it after we arrived during the 5-10 seconds we were there without the enemy having arrived, the enemy arriving and getting shot down, then the sole surviving Jehtt not even having planted the bomb before dying as well.
I typed in the chat "ve a echarle agua a la planta" (please go water the plant) in my moment of disbelief, and what I knew next was two of my friends dying with laughter at the group voice chat from reading that, and one of them being like "bro don't do that, you're gonna scar her"; something that intensified when at the next round where we lost, the Jehtt player straight up left the match.
More laughter (and disappointment from one of them) ensued.
Estaba este momento en el que cuatro de nosotros y un Jehtt desconocido con nosotros cuando jugamos como atacantes (plantar la bomba/spipke) y logramos llegar al sitio...pero el Jehtt que cargaba la bomba por alguna razón no plantó despues de los 5-10 llegundos en que llegamos sin que nos atacara el enemigo, y llegó el enemigo y nos disparó a todos, y Jehtt quien había sobrevivido ni siquiera plantó la planta anes de morir.
Escribí en el chat "ve a echarle agua a la planta" en mi momento de confusión, y lo que escuché después fue dos de mi equipo muriéndose de risa en el chat de voz del grupo al leer eso, y uno de ellos estando tipo "bro no hagas eso, la vas a atormentar"; algo que se intensificó cuando en la siguiente ronda que perdimos, esta Jehtt salió de la partida.
Más risas (y decepción de unos de ellos) sucedieron.
But anyways...
There was at least one match where we were started playing and managed to clutch 3 round wins
against two wins they had...and despite the fight looked pretty even against the other team...they surrendered at the third one we won.
We still have no idea why they did that, but we'll take it lmao

Estaba esta ronda que jugamos y logramos conseguir 3 rondas clutch en contra de las dos que consiguieron ellos...y a pesar de lo pareja que estaba la pelea ocntra ellos...se rindieron a la tercera ronda que ganamos.
Aún no tenemos idea porqué hicieron eso, pero nos quedaremos con eso gracias 😎
The last story I have was from a match that we were losing by a landslide but started catching up, with the fifth random player pulling off clutch kills, me somehow being in the right place and in the right time to use a shotgun, and this last-second save from one of my team pulling up to deactivate the bomb after disposing of the last enemy player remaining.
La última historia que tengo fue de una partida en el que estabamos perdiendo por diferencia pero empezamos a remontar, gracias al quinto random consiguiendo muchas kills clutch, yo de alguna forma estando en el lugar y tiempo correctos con una escopeta, y esta salvada de último segundo de uno de mi equipo llegando a desactivar la bomba después de encargarse del último enemigo.
At the end, we managed to somehow get it into a tie which led us to a Sudden Death round. I took down one or two but then died, other 3 players also died while fighting, and it all ended in a blind one versus one fight at the site with our Viper having deployed their ultimate ability fog...
Al final, logramos empatar para una ronda de muerte súbita. Me llevé a uno o dos pero morí, otros 3 también murieron peleando, y terminó en un uno-contra-uno a ciegas en el sitio con nuestro Viper utilizando su niebla de ultimate...
Well...we tried, and it was more fun than expected with them :)
Bueno...lo intentamos, y fue más divertido de lo que esperaba con ellos :)

Creo que todos los juegos donde juegues con gente random serán un auténtica catástrofe, pero no hay nada mejor que jugar con amigos y además que te aconsejen como ser mejor jugador, yo en lo personal no he llegado a jugar valorant, no creo que mi internet me lo permita. Aunque tengo una duda hermano, ¿por qué las fotos se ven así?. No lo pregunto con mala intención, solo por curiosidad.
Las tomé con la cámara del teléfono mientras estaba muerto (no sería fácil tomar fotos de las partidas mientras estoy yo con las manos en teclado y mouse, y grabar en OBS me quitaba FPS); ahora mismo no tengo un programa para tomar capturas de juegos con un botón y no sabía si el Windows Printscreen serviría con el Valorant xd
Definitivamente este tipos de juegos (Valorant, CSGO, Wild Rift...) los disfruto es con amigos, porque además de los comentarios y todo hay una sinergía entre lo que se habla para los movimientos...pero entras con gente aleatoria y pues allá que planea o hace cada uno; eso sin contar si te llegan a insultar 13 veces por no carrear.

Ah entiendo bro, solo tenía curiosidad en saber porque eran tomadas con el teléfono y la verdad tenie sentido.
Consejo del dia, jugar con gente random en un juego con una comunidad tóxica solo significa que si no juegas como dios te van a insultar en 20 idiomas diferente.

Yo la verdad que disfruto de Valorant es cuando lo juego en grupo con amigos, así que si quieres puedes llegarte al discord de HiveGaming para ver en algún momento que decida jugar con perceval para que juguemos juntos; aún si no ganamos al menos risas tendríamos con el chat de voz 🤣
Valorant is not very enjoyable when you play alone, but it's definitely fun when you play with friends. Extremely fun! Especially if you play for fun and blind each other with skills.
