Hello, amazing community of gamers. I hope you all are doing well.
Today, I started a new season of The Walking Dead, and I'm already in love with this new playable character. I also like the fact that this time it wasn't a nobody that I was playing, it was a famous guy who had been thrown into this apocalyptic world of zombies.
I want to show you guys how his simple life turned upside down as his relationship with his parents and brother's wife got complicated as the dawn of zombie apocalypse starts.
The game starts with our MC running through the street toward his home. When he got to it, an angry-looking Mexican stood in the front door. As the guy wrestled our MC, we learned his name was Javi. His older brother was pissed as Javi couldn't make it in time to the funeral of their father.
They made it up shortly after and Javi comforted his grieving mother. He meets his nephew and brother's wife who are happy to see him.
Out of curiosity, Javi went to his dad's room they found an angry hissing guy who had already bitten one of their family members. Their mother came to check the commotion and found that their sons were holding her husband. She went closer to him and tried to calm him down.
She got bit. Javi's elder brother David held the creature that was once their father as Javi rushed toward his bitten mother. They took her to the nearest hospital and put down the snarling creature.
Javi, Kate, Gabriel, and Mariana were traveling in a van. They looked out for walkers and went great distances away from the monsters. Kate's habit of smoking never left her. Javi had 3 choices: whether to forbid it, ask to do it himself, or question if they should do it.
They soon reach a junkyard, a good place to scavenge for fuel and maybe if they were lucky, they could also find some food. The first thing they found was a walker. Javi showed his tremendous skill in baseball as he swung the crowbar across the face of the walker.
They fanned out and found some fuel for the car and they spread out looking for anything useful.
Fortunately for them, some of the cars had some fuel. They siphoned alt they could before reaching the old shack. They entered through the crack underneath it.
Inside it, there were no zombies but had a lot of canned food, enough for the four for months.
The kids were so excited to spend a night in a real mattress after a long time with a proper dinner. But, Kate told that it was someone else's stash and they should leave. The choice was Javi's, whether to stay or leave.
I made him choose to leave since the owners could show up anytime or the herd would.
Speak of the devil and so shall he appear. So did the "owners" of the junkyard. They questioned the intruder(Javi) about his intentions. Javi said that they merely needed the gas. The leader inferred that there were more people and asked the others to search the place for more intruders.
Javi said that his mates scouting and would not like to see him being pointed at by a gun.
They entered the shack in search of Javi's mates but found it empty. The leader was frustrated and demanded that he tell them. Javi wouldn't budge.
They went outside to find the others while Javi and one of the men were inside the shack. The guy was getting suspicious of the wooden board and Javi took the opportunity to try and knock him out with the crowbar.
He failed to do with the crowbar but managed to knock him out. Now, the guys were mad. They knocked the lights out of Javi.
When he came to, he found his hands strapped with a plastic cuff. He asked the driver what happened to his family. The guy drove without speaking. Javi asked if they could cut a deal or something. The guy said that it was not up to him.
A little further ahead, a tree came crashing down and the guy swerved the car. He lost control and it fell in a ditch. Javi grabbed the driver's gun and got out of the car, shaking.
Clementine Enters the scene
And finally, we see the culprit. A grown-up Clem. she only needed the van and so she caused it to crash. They loosely introduced each other and told what they each needed from each other.
Clementine makes a deal. She would help Javi get to his family and in exchange she would get the van. Javi accepted and they went for the road. They cleared a few zombies but were swarmed with a herd.
In the nick of time, they reached a quarantine zone. The guy that opened the gates was named Tripp and he was well acquainted with Clementine. He asked if she would stay for long. Clem said that she and Javi would leave the moment the herd would clear off. They were headed toward a junkyard where some dangerous men probably captured Javi's family.
Javi roams in the neighborhood, anxiously waiting for the herd to be cleared off.

Great game, it's a pity that the company went bankrupt, although I heard that now they have new owners. Zombies are always art for terror.
Didn't know that was the case, the game itself has such an amazing message, and albeit the graphics are not so high end the story itself sets the bar high up.
That my friend is something I agree with wholeheartedly.
