So, after a lot of “aaahs” and “ufffs”, I finally came to a spot where I found a chalice. This was after I beat Father Gascoigne, at the Oedon Tomb. I was a mere level 27 and had to find a way to quickly upgrade.

I reached Old Yharnam and found a “Blood-Starved Beast”. This beast had an Old Hunter Summon just outside it’s place.

My friends and I were on call, while I was streaming I entered the first ever dungeon. They screamed at me, to warn me, to not start this treacherous path. A journey, that would take 40-50 hours to complete. I didn’t flinch, as I couldn’t tell the difference between “honey and oil”. You see, that main story Yharnam enemies were small time ruffians compared to the threats of that persists in these Dungeons.

I streamed for about 4 hours, 6 people joined in, 2 of them were my friends and the rest were randoms, and there, I explored almost all of the place.
The link to that streamed video.
I didn’t know how many layers was there. My friends, laughing their eyeballs out, watching me die like a bug getting crushed. The layout of the dungeon was another difficult aspect that shouldn’t be taken lightly. Once you forget, you get lost, for eternity or that’s how they put it. Yeah, I got psychotic friends.

The first layer boss was a simple guard, he had a huge sickle instead of hands, and the only attack he consistently did was swing them.

Died there for 30 minutes straight🤦‍♂️.

I somehow clear that, and headed to the second layer. Then, I start to realise, that each layer has only 2 parts. One had a treasure room, and the other had the boss room. One that would give you the carrot, the other- the stick. This 2nd layer had 3 bosses.

Each were called “Watchmen”. One had a pistol, and the other 2 had blunt weapons. Took me 3-4 tries before I finally got them, thanks to the molotovs.

I hit the bottom layer, the 3rd Pthumerian Layer. The generic skeletons were there, but outside this boss was an Old Hunter Summon area. I remember the place of Godrick, and other bosses from Elden Ring that these bosses usually are very difficult. I went in and died in the second blow… it’s name was Guarding Of The Old Lords. It looked like a dog, the guardian thing. Otherwise, it also could be called a crocodile.

Another that that poked my head. The background music for this dog, it’s amazingly similar to Tree Sentinel in Elden Ring. Both characters “guard” what’s ahead, and have several attack sequence.
I used up all 11 of my Insights, the currency for calling the Old Hunters Olek, and was running low on Blood Vials🥲. It was night time and I had to go to bed.

Couldn’t sleep, just kept thinking about how to beat that Dog/crocodile beast.

3 hours, I stayed in bed, until I got up and went for this beats again.

The Result:

Afterwards, I got a peaceful sleep, knowing that I beat the hurdle then and there.
Enjoy the gameplay!

I have heard so many good things about this game, that I almost feel like this game is overrated! I would love to try it out but that 30 FOS cap is just a no no for me. Despite of being an old game the staging and colors look phenomenal! The fight also seems to be worth watching! Fingers crossed for their improved release! Would love to play and stream this masterpiece

All souls game are masterpieces.

I would love to try it out but that 30 FOS cap is just a no no for me.

Games like these are best played in FOS cap, no advantage for having higher spec things XD.

Despite of being an old game the staging and colors look phenomenal!

Souls games are wonders, created by From Software. I insist, do give it a whirl!

It’s not about the advantage. I just get motion sickness from it 🥴

Once you get with the flow, that wouldn't be a problem.

It does look like a crocodile/dog. Reminds me of that Egyptian goddess Ammut. I liked your strategy of going for the hind legs since it didn't turn around very quickly. Those fire shockwaves were tough though, you timed your movements very well. Nice gunshot finish!

Yess.

Learned that the way.

Nice gunshot finish

Didn’t wanna risk getting closer, and get hit with a barrage of attacks. Had to go for the long range stuff. If souls has taught me anything, it’s that: You will be punished for not timing perfectly, or not taking advantage of the opportunity.

Yeah usually the safe route's the best one. Feel like these kind of game's make players more patient too and test your resolve with their difficult due to how much easier they make other things feel haha

These games, makes the players implode with rage and frustration. One wrong step, and you gotta do at the stuff, again. Not to mention the time waste, and “currency” loss. Also, the boss fight music brings the mood, like you are fighting a beast, sorta thing.
