Today I have come to talk about the expansion: The Sims 4 Island Living, but first of all I apologize for my absence in the community for so many days, due to lack of time for studies and exams, however I am back, to continue commenting on the wonderful saga.

Hoy les he venido a hablar sobre la expansión: Los Sims 4 Vida Isleña, pero primero que nada disculparme por mi ausencia en la comunidad por tantos días, debido a la falta de tiempo por los estudios y exámenes, no obstante ya estoy de vuelta, para seguir comentándoles sobre la maravillosa saga.
The seventh expansion disc that brings us the game, this time it takes us to a paradise with lush vegetation, warm weather and exquisite sandy beaches and turquoise water. His inspiration is found between the Hawaiian Islands and the Polynesian Islands with a marked culture and their own characters.
El séptimo disco de expansión que nos trae el juego, esta vez nos lleva a un paraíso con exuberante vegetación, cálido clima y exquisitas playas de arena y agua color turquesa. Su inspiración se halla entre las islas Hawái y las islas Polinesias con una marcada cultura y caracteres propios.
The first thing that strikes me apart from the colorful costumes, tribal tattoos and hair styles is the cool collection of furniture that gives our characters' homes a more island look, as well as including features such as: Son (Daughter) of the Island and Son (Daughter) of the Ocean and a new aspiration for beach life, which focuses on the beach and the new world. Personally, I fell in love with these round tables that give a distinctive touch to any home. AND WHAT TO SAY ABOUT THESE PALM TREES…
Lo primero que me llama la atención a parte del colorido vestuario, los tatuajes tribales y estilos del cabello es la colección chulísima de muebles que le dan un aspecto más isleño al hogar de nuestros personajes, además de incluir rasgos como: Hijo (Hija) de la Isla e Hijo (Hija) del Océano y una nueva aspiración de vida playera, que se enfoca en la playa y en el nuevo mundo. En lo personal, me enamoré de estas mesas redondas que le dan un toque distintivo a cualquier morada. Y QUÉ DECIR DE ESTAS PALMERAS…
The classic sims four welcome committee this time takes on another twist, the neighbors don't show up with the traditional (and I won't comment on it, even though my sims think it's disgusting) fruitcake, but this time they'll arrive with a Kava fountain, apparently a typical drink of the area, prepared with the roots of a plant of the same name. El comité de bienvenida clásico de los sims cuatro esta vez adquiere otro matiz, los vecinos no se presentan con el tradicional (y no haré comentarios al respecto, aunque mi sims crea que es asqueroso) pastel de frutas, sino que esta vez llegarán con una fuete de Kava, al parecer una bebida típica de la zona, preparada con raíces de una planta del mismo nombre. Nos podemos quedar con el bol de kava para más adelante prepararla nosotros mismos.
Focusing on the game system of this expansion, it is based on a relaxed lifestyle: sand castles, sunbathing, swimming in the sea, and going back and forth on water vehicles. The expansion includes inflatables that allow you to relax in the warm waters of the Island. The option to sunbathe and tan was also included, but be careful, doing it for a long time can cause skin burns, and make our sims feel uncomfortable.
Centrándonos en el sistema del juego de esta expansión, se basa en un estilo de vida relajado: castillos de arena, tumbarse a tomar el sol, nadar en el mar e ir y venir en vehículos acuáticos. La expansión incluye inflables que permiten relajarse en las cálidas aguas de la Isla. También se incluyó la opción de tomar el sol y broncearse, pero cuidado, que hacerlo por mucho tiempo puede provocar quemaduras en la piel, y hacer a nuestro sims sentirse molesto.
But Sulani not only focuses on our house and our sims, since it provides an interactive world with neighbors, food stalls and even some kind of festivals. When some kind of event is taking place on the island we will see a large number of banderillas placed throughout the area. I really liked the idea of the barbecue and the new dishes.
Pero Sulani no solo se centra en nuestra casa y en nuestros sims, ya que aporta un mundo interactivo con vecinos, puestos de comida e incluso cierta especie de festivales. Cuando algún tipo de evento se esté llevando a cabo en la isla veremos gran cantidad de banderillas colocadas por toda la zona. Me gustó mucho la idea de la barbacoa y los nuevos platillos.
The expansion also includes a new type of party: Kava Party, where by obtaining gold we will be rewarded with a treasure.
La expansión, además, incluye un nuevo tipo de fiesta: Fiesta de Kava, donde al obtener oro seremos recompensados con un tesoro.
As for professions, the expansion offers us four novelties focused on the Island: conservationist, the only full-time one, which has two different branches up to ten levels, and diver, lifeguard and fisherman, all three part-time , which have up to three levels and two schedules (morning and afternoon).
The Conservationist profession focuses on the conservation of Mua Pel'Am Island, and it is the job of our sims to contribute, along with their peers, their grain of sand to make the rest aware of the prejudices of throwing garbage on the beaches and working based on your recovery.
En cuanto a profesiones, la expansión nos ofrece cuatro novedades enfocadas en la Isla: la de conservacionista, la única a tiempo completo, que cuenta con dos ramas diferentes has diez niveles, y las de buzo, socorrista y pescador, las tres a tiempo parcial, que cuentan con hasta tres niveles y dos horarios (el de mañana y el de tarde).
La profesión de Conservacionista se enfoca en la conservación de la Isla de Mua Pel´Am, y es labor de nuestro sims aportar, junto a sus compañeros, su granito de arena para concientizar al resto sobre los prejuicios de arrojar basura a las playas y trabajar en base a su recuperación.
This expansion also adds the No Services trait to a group of lots, so whoever lives on a lot of this type will have to learn to survive without water and electricity. The volcano of Mua Pel'Am Island is active and it is common that from time to time it releases stones, smoke and ash from its interior. The beautiful waterfall allows our sims to take a dip from time to time and in the cave we can hopefully find one or another collectible.
Esta expansión añade también a un grupo de solares el rasgo de Sin servicios, por lo que quién viva en un solar de este tipo, tendrá que aprender a sobrevivir sin agua y luz eléctrica. El volcán de la Isla de Mua Pel´Am, está activo y es común que de vez en cuando lance piedras, humo y ceniza de su interior. La hermosa cascada permite a nuestros sims darse un chapuzón de vez en cuando y en la cueva podemos hallar con suerte uno que otro objeto coleccionable.
The lots attached to the beach, worthy of my mention in this post, offer the possibility of building innumerable creations and magnificent lots already to the taste of each one. Personally, I'm not very good at architecture.
Los solares pegados a la playa, dignos de mi mención en este post, ofrece la posibilidad de construir innumerables creaciones y magníficos solares ya al gusto de cada cual. A mí en lo personal no se me da muy bien la arquitectura.
I wanted to leave the mermaids for last, a new type of hidden sims that came with this expansion and to whom I will dedicate a post exclusively for them. Mermaids can be created in the CAS from the start of the game or transform an existing sims after consuming a mermaid algae.
Quería dejar ya para el final las sirenas, un nuevo tipo de sims ocultos que llegó con esta expansión y a quienes dedicaré un post exclusivamente para ellas. Las sirenas pueden crearse en el CAS desde que iniciamos el juego o bien transformar un sims ya existente tras consumir un alga sirénica.
In conclusion, from my point of view, the greatest contribution of this expansion to the game is the magnificent world of Sulani Island, where we can not only spend hours and hours building attractive buildings, but also let our imagination fly and develop in this warm paradise countless stories. En conclusión, a mi punto de vista, el mayor aporte de esta expansión al juego es el magnífico mundo de la Isla de Sulani, donde no solo podremos pasar horas y horas construyendo atractivas edificaciones, sino echar a volar nuestra imaginación y desarrollar en este cálido paraíso un sinnúmero de historias.

Visa Isleña me gustó, pero creo que podría hacer mucho más por el sistema de juego que propone. Te recomiendo, si sos de moddear tu juego, que le eches un vistazo a Expanded Mermaids de SpinningPlumbobs!
