Hello guys. I am so excited getting in touch with you all today. I am very glad making my first post in this community. It is a very good initiative by leaders of this platform to bring game lovers like myself all around the world together.
Today, my post is a contest entry which requires that I review of the Crypto Shots 3D Shooting Game. Please spend a few minutes out of your busy schedule to go through.
INTRODUCTION
Crypto Shots is an NFT based 3D Shooting Game which is connected to the Hive blockchain. Just like any other shooting game, it comprises of assests such as weapons and ammunitions, shields and characters to be shot at. The real difference has to do with the fact that all these assests are collectible Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). How about earning Dot Omega (DOOM) ? Players do not have to worry. To earn the Crypto Shots token, DOOM, all that a player has to do is to take down a drone across different planets.
GAME CONTROLS
I tried playing the game on my phone but I had a few challenges which I think were as a result of my phone. I then resorted to playing it on a Laptop. Navigating my way through the game was so easy. I used the arrow keys to move about. A click on the touchpad shot the weapon. A dragging gesture on the touchpad as well was used to target the enemy. Navigation using a mouse would have also been as easy as clicking to shoot and dragging to focus on the enemy.
LEVELS/ STAGES
Just like most games, Crypto Shots also has different levels which demonstrates the stages of difficulty that users can experience.
The first stage is called "EASY". At this stage, users experience the very basic level of difficulty in the game. At some points, even a single gunshot at the enemy kills it. This is just to make the player familiar with the environment of the game and also know the basic things to look out for.
As the player ends this stage, he/she is given the opportunity to advance to the next level called "MEDIUM". This stage is neither simple nor tough.
The final level is called "HARD". As the name suggests, it is a 'hard' stage. Players come across more aggressive enemies who do not die by a single gunshot. They still persist waiting for a few more shots before they perish.
GRAPHICS/ ENVIRONMENT
Having played Call of Duty for some time, I realised that this game might just be the next big thing. The graphics have a very high quality.
I am sure if a few more characters, colours, objects and buildings are added, it will only be a matter of time that Crypto Shots Game will be rubbing shoulders with some of the well known 3D Shooting Games already available.
NFT REVIEW
After playing the game for free, I came back to the main page and selected " PLAY TO EARN".
After I selected that option, I was then required to sign in with my Hive username and Posting Key.
Next was a welcome menu which had so many questions included.
Questions such as:
- Want to pick up more GUNS?
- Want more play TIME ?
- Want more AMMO ?
On top of all these questions was a directive to get a starter kit, which I chose.
I don't have NFT packs at the moment so the next thing I saw was like a confirmation message which stated that I do not have NFT packs available. I was then directed to buy some NFT packs from people to start playing the game and earn more.
After agreeing to buy, I saw a group of different users and the various offerings they were making. Unfortunately I could not afford them so this is where I stopped navigating through.
The reason why I am naming all these is to make you aware of what to expect incase you decide to navigate through.
My thought on the NFT aspect is that, it is top notch. Though it is not perfect, I believe there is still more room for improvement. Probably the developers could consider adding more options from which users can select from.
SUMMARY
Cryto Shots is a 3D Shooting Game with so much potential. It's special features include the ability to play and earn NFTs. With very high quality graphics, it provides players a very awesome experience.
