Yeah 10 min in chess is enough to even play few matches.
In other games as you wrote you could just get angry because you will not do anything in that time. Especially in these ones where you need to play ranked games which can take at least 20-40 min for 1 game. So with 10 min is not much time to even play 1 ranked game. :D
Being able to land a few games in a short amount of time is great. And you can also take a break between one game of chess and the other, if you have other stuff to do, so it's really easy to find some time to play a game or two, even in a busy day. With other types of games this is almost impossibile.
