Ahead of the closed beta release, streamers and content creators were finally allowed to show pre-recorded footage of Valorant on April 3, and the floodgates for details on the game were opened.

Riot's upcoming team-based FPS is easily the most-hyped unreleased title of 2020 at the moment, and with the closed beta launching April 7, players are chomping at the bit for any information about the new game.

As you know im french , then i had watching lot of french streamers who streaming yesterday about valorant and here i will give you all the info.

One of the reveals from Friday was the names and badges for the different levels in Valorant's ranked mode, which, at first glance, already look more in-depth than a game like Overwatch, for example.

Valorant will come with seven total ranks for players to try and work their way up, with the lowest starting at Mercenary, followed by Soldier, Veteran, Hero, Legend, Mythic, and Immortal.

Each station has three different divisions you'll have to progress through in order to be promoted to the next one, similar to Riot's League of Legends. Unlike in LoL though, where the top ranks only have one tier, the highest levels in Valorant still seem to have different stages within them.

It makes sense that Valorant's ranking system would look similar to League's, since both games are made by the same company, and like LoL, players will have to play a certain number of unranked games to get their initial placement.

as we can see on the picture above we can see 9 ranks With 7 ranks séparated on 3 tier we have :

  • Unranked : as you know unranked is unranked we don't know how many game for get our rank 5.. or 10

  • Mercenary: First rank , équivalent to bronze i guess , splitted in Merc 1 , merc 2 or merc 3

  • Soldier : 2sd rank , look like silver, same split in 3 tier

  • Veteran: gold équivalent of this rank system and i think will be the 'elo-hell' ofd this game, 3 tiers too

  • Hero: We start to get in Platinium , the level start to be good here ! 3 tier too for rank up

  • Legend :That is diamond équivalent ! we begin to play seriously like legendary eagle on CS go

  • Mythic: Lets play ! begin to be in high tier of the game , thats like Supreme master first class

  • Immortal: This is global elite or Grand master ! The realy high elo !

-VALORANT: The top of the top ! i don't know how work sthis rank but look likes top 500 ! This is my future team objectives ! in Valorant esport !

While we've had our first look at the different ranks themselves, we still don't have any word on what kind of level decay or possible MMR resets that could happen, but going off of the League example, both are definitely possibilities.

What we do know is that Riot are clearly geared towards pushing the competitive side of the game right off the bat, laying the groundwork for what will more than likely turn into a path to pro.
