Good morning and thanks for reading! I can completely understand, many people are hesitant about the types of imagery that crops up in this game. In a lot of ways it comes down to your level of tolerance for such things, but if memory serves, there are only three distinct scenes that could be considered overtly disturbing.
In my mind it wasn't as shocking as press would lead us to believe, but they could potentially trigger someone. I think if you're unsure, but still curious, the safest best would be to watch a playthrough of the game. That way you could get a taste of what it's like, and then you could determine if it would be too much!
