Hello everyone!!!
I hope you’re all doing well, or at least trying to. I’m doing fine. The news isn’t bad, at least. Today, I’d like to talk to you about Minecraft’s new update. To be honest, Pravesh has already talked a little about what we’ve been up to in his own blog, but I’d still love for you to read about it in my own words.
I might not have taken screenshots as good as Pravesh’s, but at least I’ve got enough to show what I’ve experienced. (We’re doing something, at least.)
The new things added have dazzled me so much that I could hardly focus. I had copper golems on my mind the whole time. I wanted to build one as quickly as possible. Of course, he made one without me… Anyway, let’s focus on the present.
Until now, we’d been playing version 1.21.4, so we thought it would be a good idea to start fresh with a new server. I must say, the start was much smoother — partly because I’ve been getting more familiar with the game, and partly thanks to the (I assume) new features it includes.
After roughly setting up our food and wood storage above ground, we went underground in search of mines. It didn’t take long to find a deep cave nearby. In fact, it felt like they’d slightly increased the iron spawn rate — because within the first hour, without much digging, almost everything we had was made of iron. Later on, when we had to look around for coal, we came across loads of copper instead.
This turned out to be a great opportunity for the things we want to experiment with in the long run. After all, that’s exactly why we switched to the new version. I even remember telling Pravesh that using different shades of copper would be fun — and it really does seem like it will be. We already have more than five colour variations, and you know how much I love things like that.
Since the cave was dark and our coal supplies were limited, Pravesh gave me a little “light show” moment that made things easier for me. In the end, the sight you can see above — which looked like Redstone — appeared, and I absolutely loved it.
Every branching path in the cave led to an even larger space. We only hit two or three dead ends, which actually helped us decide which directions to take. Sometimes, while fighting mobs deep underground, we’d lose track of how we got there and had to retrace our steps — it was a long process.
Finding diamonds was often quite easy. Even for me (and I’m not even an intermediate player), the mobs didn’t give me too much trouble. Of course, that wasn’t because I screamed and ran away every time, waiting for Pravesh to come and save me (it definitely was).
A bit deeper in, we stumbled upon what I thought I’d seen from a distance — a very special cave. Or rather, a biome filled with some of my favourite elements in the entire game. I absolutely love glowberries and those floating flower particles. You might not have seen it, but in the Greenhouse we built, I used plenty of those flowers, and they gave it such a lovely atmosphere.
While exploring the area, I asked Pravesh if we could stay here. I really have to thank him again, because despite all the challenges, he agreed. Especially since farming here comes with one big issue: light. But he sorted that out too. Of course, while he was doing all that, I was asleep. When I woke up the next morning, there were about 120 diamonds and more iron than I could count.
He even crafted a few extra beds and placed them around. He did everything without me. Now I’m just trying to make time to give him the names of the blocks I need so he can gather them 🤫 First, I need to see what I can build.
A brand-new world lies before me, and I’ve loved it from the very first minute.
For now, I don’t want to come back to the surface, but you can get a general idea of what’s been happening from the blog I’ve linked above. I’ll share the rest with you later. Honestly, I’m a little dizzy from all this beauty. Especially since the Iris + Sodium mods make the game look even better. I definitely recommend them — just type their names into any search engine, and you’ll find them right away. They’re also very easy to install.
Even though I haven’t tried every new feature yet, I really love what we can do with copper. I can’t wait to experiment with it more.

Umarım iyisinizdir ya da iyi olmaya çalışıyorsunuzdur. Ben iyiyim. Haberler kötü değil en azından. Bugün ise sizlerle Minecraft'ın yeni güncellemesi hakkında konuşmak istiyorum. Gerçeği konuşmak gerekirse daha yeni Pravesh kendi yazında neler yaptığımızdan biraz bahsetti ama isterim ki bir de benim kelimelerim ile okuyun.
Pravesh kadar iyi ekran görüntüleri alamamış olsam da en azından ne yaşadığımı gösterecek kadar elimde var. (Yapıyoruz bir şeyler işte.)
Yeni gelen şeyler gözlerimi o kadar kör etti ki odaklanamadım bile. Aklımda sürekli copper golem vardı. Elimden geldiğince hızlı bir şekilde onu yaratmak istiyordum. Tabii bensiz yapmış... Neyse, biz şu zamana odaklanalım.
Şu zamana kadar 1.21.4 versiyonunu oynadığımız için yeni bir server ile birlikte ilerlemek iyi olur diye düşündük ve eklemeliyim ki gerek benim oyun hakkında biraz daha fazla olması ile birlikte gerekse oyunun (sanırım) yeni özellikleri ile birlikte başlangıç çok daha kolay oldu.
Yukarıda yiyecek ve odun depolama işimizi göz kararı halletmemizin ardından maden arayışı işin yeraltına indik. Çevremizde derin bir mağara bulmak hiç de zor olmadı. Hatta büyük ihtimalle iron spawn rate'ini biraz artırmışlar gibi geldi bize çünkü kazı yapmadan, ilk 1 saatte her şeyimiz iron'dandı. İlerleyen süreçte etrafta coal aramak zorunda kaldığımızda bol bol copper bulduk.
Bu uzun vadede denemek istediğimiz şeyler için bence çok iyi bir fırsattı. Sonuçta yeni versiyona sırf bunun için gelmiştik. Hatta hatırlıyorum ki bakırın tonlarını kullanmanın çok eğlenceli olacağını Pravesh'e söyledim. Gerçekten de öyle olacak gibi. Elimizde 5'ten fazla renk çeşidi var ve biliyorsunuz ki seviyorum bu tarz şeyleri.
Mağara karanlık olduğu için ve de bizim coal kaynaklarımız sınırlı olduğu için Pravesh bana minik bir "aydınlatma" yaşatarak bu konuda işimi kolaylaştırdı. En sonunda ise yukarıda görebileceğiniz Redstone gibi görüntü ortaya çıktı ve ben buna bayıldım.
Girdiğimiz mağaradan her bir yol ayrımı daha da büyük bir alana ilerliyordu. Sadece 2 ya da 3 adet çıkmaz sona geldik fakat bu çoğunlukla ne tarafa doğru gitmemize karar verme konusunda yardımcımız oldu. Bazen mağaranın içerisinde olan mob'lar ile dövüşürken nereden nasıl geldiğimizi unutup geri adımlarımızı izlemek gerekti uzun bir süreç olduğu için.
Çoğu zaman elmas bulmak kolay oldu. Hatta bana bile (orta seviye bir oyuncu bile değilim) mob'lar büyük bir zorluk çıkarmadı. Tabii ki de sebebi her seferinde çığlık atıp geri kaçarken Pravesh'in gelmesini beklemekten dolayı değildi bu kolaylık (kesinlikle buydu).
Biraz daha derinlerde iken uzaktan gördüğümüzü düşündüğüm bu özel mağaraya rastladık. Daha doğrusu bütün oyun içerisinde en sevdiğim elementlere sahip olan biyoma rastladık. Glowberries ve tozları uçuşan çiçekleri çok seviyorum. Belki daha önce görmemişsinizdir fakat inşa ettiğimiz Greenhouse'ta bu çiçeklerden bolca kullandım ve harika bir atmosfer kazandırdı.
Burada çevreyi incelerken Pravesh'e burada kalıp kalamayacağımızı sordum. Bu konuda tekrar teşekkür ederim ona çünkü bütün zorluklara rağmen burada kalmayı kabul etti. Özellikle de farm konusunda büyük bir problem var. Işık. Bunu da halletmiş. Tabii ben o bunları yaparken uyuyordum. Sabah bir uyandım ki yaklaşık 120 diamond ve sayamadığım kadar iron var.
Hatta birkaç tane ekstra yatak yapmış ve koymuş. Bensiz bütün işleri halletmiş. Şimdi ise biraz zaman yaratmaya çalışıyorum ki ona gerekli block'ların isimlerini vereyim ve de o toplasın 🤫 İlk önceler neler yapabileceğime bakmam gerekiyor.
Önümde yepyeni bir dünya var ve ben bu dünyayı daha ilk dakikadan çok sevdim.
Şimdilik sizlerle yukarı çıkmak istemiyorum ama linkini eklediğim blogtan zaten neler olduğu az çok görebilirsiniz. Geri kalanını sizlerle daha sonra paylaşacağım. Benim bu güzellikle başım döndü diyebilirim. Özellikle de kullandığımız İris+Sodium modları daha da güzelleştiriyor bu oyunu. Kesinlikle size de tavsiye ederim. Herhangi bir arama motoruna bu isimleri yazdığınızda hemen karşınıza çıkıyorlar zaten ve kurulumları da oldukça kolay.
Her ne kadar her özelliğini şimdilik deneyememiş olsam da copper ile birlikte yapabileceğimiz şeyleri çok sevdim. Daha fazlasını denemek için sabırsızlanıyorum.
