Allright... at some point in the year, I had almost caught up with my Humble Bundle monthly drop writeups... and that sort of fell by the wayside as I made it to the right year... so, I'm planning to catch up properly this time (just like the last few times...)... and also start getting my keys store up again! That template is only about 4 years out of date... but all of that will have to wait until I finish our taxes.
Immortals of Aveum
Trepang2
Total War: Pharoah Dynasties
Fabledom
Griftlands
Tales and Tactics
Naheulbeuk's Dungeon Master
My Little Universe
Leading this February 2025 Humble Bundle drop is the awesome looking Immortals of Aveum. For some reason, I had seen this pop up every now and then... and for some reason, the name just sounded meh to me, and I never really looked further into it. However, now that is in the Humble Bundle drop, I took a peek at the steam store page... and wow, it looks pretty cool! A First Person magic shooter.... Apparently it had pretty mediocre launch reviews, but all the pretty magic colours... I'm hooked! I think I will give this one a go and claim the key!
Meanwhile, Trepang2 is also another First Person shooter... and this time, a shooter and not a zapper... and it does look a little bit FEAR for those who are old enough to remember that. I really loved that game, even though it freaked me out... but I've sort of passed the days when I'm into circle strafing in drab environments. I will skip this one and add it to the key store.
I've never really gotten into the Total War series... the closest that I've come has been the Warhammer adaptations, and I'm planning on revisiting those again soon. But the core gameplay has never really grabbed me. So, in that spirit, I'm going to also pass on this one... I know that I'll never play it, and if I play a Total War game then I should do the Warhammer ones.
Fabledom has me intrigued... I do love a city builder, and this having some funny fairytale vibes is right on the money for me. At least enough to see if it can emulate some sort of Majesty spiritual successor... that is again the beauty of these Humble Bundle drops... odd games popping up and me claiming them... and eventually playing them!
Griftlands... well, I would have claimed this, but I had already bought it in a Steam sale... I do like Klei games, even if they don't always hit the long-playing mark with me... but I do enjoy them mostly, and this being a Klei game, I figured that I would buy it on sale... silly me, I still haven't played it, and now it comes in the Humble Bundle drop! Derp! Anyway, this means that someone else will be able to claim this key when I finally list it!
Tales and Tactics... autobattler... not my thing, but this does have a cute art style. So, I'm going to claim this one and try it out!
Naheulbeuk's Dungeon Master... I had played the previous games, and sort of found them faintly amusing, not that deep, and also faintly annoying. Still, I finished all of them... even if they were a bit light and bit on rails for an RPG. I'm not sure that I could stomach more of the same... even if it was from the perspective of the OTHER side. Pass on this, and straight to the game store!
My Little Universe... cute, but not my cup of tea. Pass!

Humble Bundle Subscriptions, it's a no brainer for the dedicated gamer!
There are not too many good monthly bundles lately IMO, I loved the one from September, but it looks like we get like a decent bundle every 3 or 4 bad ones lol
I think Griftlands is a little hidden gem. I never saw it get much recognition, and the game is really good. It has an interesting mix of mechanics that I've only seen in that game. Too bad you just bought it on sale haha.
