Fallout 76 the game that started off as a complete disaster in a joke of a game. The game that was the laughing stock of the industry for a while. The game was something that I thought I would never touch again until 2019 happened and we got some big news on the game. Wastelanders with this announcement they got my attention, they didn't get my attention because I was exciting or anything they got it because I wanted to see how bad of a cluster this would be. So in this post, we are going to talk about everything including story, gameplay, bugs, monetization, and overall thoughts. Westelanders has a very simple story. There's this treasure in Appalachia and everyone came back to get a piece of this with this DLC you have everything you need to make a decent fall title though you have dialogue, factions, reputation, companions and a mediocre story with us.

However, there are two stories to it the first to introduce you to the whole idea about everyone being back and what's going down and the other story which is the main one that goes over the actual treasure talking about the first part however it starts off with you talking to two people over by Fallout 76 about why everyone's back this then leads you to the way Ward where you start the wayward quest which to be completely honest is some of the most forgettable quests that you'll probably ever do and I actually have a hard time remember way happening so we're just gonna skip over this first story as the only reason it's there in my opinions to give new players a good start and loosely explain. what's happening the second storyline - This DLC is where action becomes more enjoyable this storyline is where you find the treasure and get to choose a faction and meet the overseer some of the stuff though that's basically the Scorch bug that's going around that turns people into the squirts which are all over the map and the overseer. wants to actually get into vol same time see what she can do to stop it but to do this she has you access vault Tech University where you then figure out that vault 79 contains the country's gold supply after this however you have to choose to either go with the settlement or the Raiders to actually get into the vault now I just alright there since they felt more real while the settlement felt a little less real and a little less interesting so I can't really say what happens for their storyline but with the reduce it's pretty simple how it works when choosing the Raiders were set off on about 10 SL missions where you have to save someone or do something for someone to get them onto the team to raid the vault basically recruitment missions which I feel like they've really dragged out is a around an hour long I was just recruiting people which it gets boring after the third time so they could have definitely made that shorter after this however once you actually raid the vault and get into it you figure out that people are sell in the vault who are the Secret Service or what's left of them to which you have to work your way through several enemies to actually get to them now these enemies are pretty high level they're around 50 or so so if you're a little level definitely watch out for them once some of this though you have to fix some radiation coming from the vault to get to the gold with a kit. The treasure that you came for after as though you have several options on what to do if that gold that you just found you can either give it to the Secret Service who they are now dealers now that have really good plans for armor and weapons you can give your percentage to the Raiders or whatever since you usually do a deal or you can just keep all of it it's all your choice.

Gameplay

Well to be honest I don't have too much to say on Gameplay of Fallout 76. But the gameplay in this game is something to see, for sure the way this game works in the mechanics feels super clunky and slow almost like a worst fallout 4 but other than though graphics wise this game looks worse than fallout 4. It in my opinion and has horrible performance where in some cases you could get 120 frames and other times you could get 20 frames. Overall the gameplay of this game is very weak and it was not hard to do an overhaul on but with how it is, now I can't say is at least it's playable

Bugs

If you don't know back from this game came out. It was known for one of most buggiest games in the industry and thankfully over time these bugs have been patched. But don't get me wrong the bugs in this game are still in the game. There's still a lot of them, talking about the most annoying bugs first though that sometimes gets clipped over. These were the most annoying bugs that either made the game unplayable or just annoying for example the one you're seeing on screenshot now is the black screen bug where screen just went black and the fusion cores in the bottom right they will being drained super fast and by the time you will actually restart the game. I had to go fusion core hunting again other than this though I didn't get any unplayable bugs like that just super annoying bugs like getting stuck in a pile of trash or just visual bugs they're just annoying to look at. For example, when getting to power armor almost 90% of the time the animation is bugged so yeah bugs are still a huge problem in this game and will most likely annoy the average players so will they be patched out in the future I would hope so but I must tell you the bugs are here to stay.

Monetization

While this game has definitely improved over time don't get twisted. This game is still here to try and drain your watch as much as it can. Monetization in this game is still something that will try and get you additional money. Extra features that should be free but behind a paywall, talking about in-game monetization. First, a big thing here is the Atomic shop the, the atomic shop does not only have super overpriced useless stuff, For example, character skins or paint armor for your power armor but they also have kits these are in the sense pay to win. The two main kits you can buy are the scrap kit and the repair kit. The scrap kit is pretty much if you're overcomy because if your junk you could buy the kit and they will automatically scrap all your junk and put into your stash and on the other hand the repair kit is pretty self-explanatory. If you have a broken gun or it's the low condition on a power arm or something all you have to do is buy a repair kit and bam that conditions back to 100. Other than this though there's some other pay to win features that are super overpriced that should be free. Mainly I'm talking about Fallout 1st. Here the hundred dollar year subscription that gives you stuff that people have been wanting since the beginning of the game, Main features here is that your stash that is now unlimited which should be in the game, 800 pounds is not enough for this kind of game and you have the ability to have private worlds which again should be free but it's $13 a month for this fallout.

Thoughts

Fallout 76 Wastelander is not bad as I expected. It is an improvement I will say. And yeah! There is still a lot of Improvement needed which I am sure will add time to time. In the last, I will say this game is much better than previous Fallout.
