While i was checking on my feed i saw the gaming contest and as i was reading it, sweet memories of the past flooded me and i realised my childhood days was so much fun compared to now that i only lock myself inside working on my laptop day and night to earn in order to survive....The past can not be relived hence we must encourage our younger ones to have some fun while they can..
So it was many years ago, i grew up with my big sister because my parent work in the city and were not ready to move into their new house in a forest like community where there were just few houses around, there was just two houses in my street, My sister is not that brave and i was still a small boy so spent most of the day in our neighbour's house for the fear of unseen monsters and wild animals..

My neighbour had three boys who were my agemate and we bonded so fast, they have a cd disc that contains 300 games and two pads that comes along with their vcd, i could remember the likes of contra, bomberman, mr mary, karateke and my favorite of all which was battle city and i can never forget the number it is on the game and that is number 4 based on the fact that i so much love the game..

We play battle city often as it requires team work but it becomes more fun when we have to fight for the goodies like stars[that makes gun stronger] and life that appears when we kill the enemies and this often make us shoot each other too, even tho our gun can't kill each other but it can stop us from moving and sometimes it lead to the enemy killing us or destroying the bird in the house that we ought to protect.
A year later, My sister gained admission into a university and i was in primary school as at that time, luckily the whole family decided to move in too except my dad who still choose to stay and work in the city, when they moved in and i saw the same vcd my neighbour were using when they were bringing out stuffs they brought along with them from the city to set up the house, i was excited knowing my brothers have the cd game as well, so i don't need to go to my neighbour house to play anymore and one of my senior brother also came with sega[ a game that use catridge] that was where i found another game that i so much love and it is none other than super mario!
Super mario was the next game i played after the cd game and i love it, i was very good at it and i passed so many levels, i used to reach the white house level and back then only pro can make it to that stage which shows how skillful i was in the game.. it used to be a competition between me and my immediate brother on who is the best, while i play for mario, he plays for luigi and it was really fun and super mario trended for a very long time until play station came to existence... It was an amazing sight seeing big players on the field as they were not as big as that in catridge game so i lose interest in sega and started going out to play ps 2 by paying some amount of money..
This was the first type of play station 2 before the flat one was later introduced, i played the ps2 for sometime, even tho i played mortal combat and others but it was the soccer i played mostly which is winning eleven until pes was also introduced, it was more competition between people i met in the game centre as everyone want to be the best but not every one can be the best, we later discover a cheat in pes 2 that can make certain players with great ability like c.ronaldo score from a very long distance lol... i really rock the gaming world..
hey, i didn't remember battle city, no doubt a great game for its time
yea it was a nice game and i still feel like playing it but am not sure those cd game still exist

i played that as well, hated it at first but later get to like it a bit...i am not the only lover of 300 cd game lol
So amazing... each time i remember these games, I always put a big smile. Battle city tank was one of my best games back in the days on NES consoles. It was such a fun game to play alongside Super Mario which is probably everyone's favorite game. Some of those game are still fun to play even in this present time, that is to show how fun the gameplays was back then.
