Fighting against Astral Entity [ENG/ESP]

Of the last summoners that could be obtained via airdrop Astral Entity was one of the ones that caused the biggest sensation, since its design came out we all wanted to get this card, it definitely has an astral appearance and with that it lives up to its name. Astral Entity belongs to the Splinter of death one of my favorites and although I would have liked it to be water where there is more speed in the mortal splinter it can also be quite useful.

In my case I have used it little, so much so that I have not been able to take advantage of its benefits to the fullest, but still I want to talk a little about this card because it is worth it and in turn show a battle where I fought against her, I had her as a rival and it was a fight that in the end I could win thanks to the strategy applied.

Astral is a legendary summoner, so it needs 6 points of mana to be used, within the effects that gives the team or that affects the enemy is a decrease in armor points of -2, which matches the skills it has, it is a support type summoner I call it because it does not increase attack but if it helps certain types of cards have a better performance in combat.

De los últimos invocadores que se podían conseguir vía airdrop Astral Entity fue uno de los que causo mayor sensación, desde que salió su diseño todos queríamos obtener esta carta, definitivamente tiene una apariencia astral y con eso hace honor a su nombre. Astral Entity pertenece al Splinter de muerte uno de mis favoritos y aunque me habría gustado que fuera de agua donde hay más velocidad en la astilla mortal también se le puede dar bastante utilidad.

En mi caso la he usado poco, tanto así que no he podido aprovechar sus prestaciones al máximo, pero aun así quiero hablar un poco de esta carta porque vale la pena y a su vez mostrar una batalla donde luche contra ella, la tuve como rival y fue un combate que al final pude ganar gracias a la estrategia aplicada.

Astral es un invocador legendario, por eso necesita 6 puntos de mana para poder utilizarse, dentro de los efectos que otorga al equipo o que afecta al enemigo esta una disminución en los puntos de armadura de -2, lo cual hace juego con las habilidades que posee, es un invocador tipo apoyo lo denomino porque no aumenta ataque pero si ayuda a que cierto tipo de cartas tengan un mejor desempeño en el combate.

La primera habilidad que otorga al equipo es “Dodge”, esta como su nombre lo indica aumenta la capacidad de evasión de las cartas contra ataques físicos y a distancia, un efecto que si lo combinamos con cartas que tengan la habilidad de volador y buena velocidad se intensifica, hay cartas como Phantom of the Abyss en agua que evaden casi el 100 %, una bestialidad tipo matrix sin duda. Con Astral podemos emular eso si usamos las cartas correctas.

Resurrection forces the opponent to destroy a card twice in order to win or advance favorably in combat.

La segunda habilidad que posee también es muy buena, “resurrect” con ella Astral trae a la vida al primer monstruo que muera en el campo de batalla aliado, y esto es un punto clave en las estrategias con esta carta, lo digo porque la resurrección se puede aprovechar mucho en cartas con escudo o tanques poderosos, sin embargo cuando se enfrenta a ataques mágicos es reducida a solo un golpe más de duración. Aun así es sumamente útil porque retrasa el ataque rival contra las otras cartas del equipo, tiene un efecto similar a Divine Shield donde hay que golpear dos veces para poder hacer daño. Resurrección obliga al rival a destruir una carta dos veces para poder ganar u avanzar favorablemente en el combate.

Honestly I could win because of Djinn Chawla's spines, otherwise I would have lost, it was a little stressful to see how my cards failed, but at the same time quite rewarding to see how they got hurt because of my tank's spines. As a summoner I used Daria, which gives me an increased physical attack, and the rest I used pure melee attack cards focused on the second row of the enemy. Fortunately I was able to eliminate his card in the last position before his tank, that made the combat easier, if it had happened the opposite it would have been more difficult because his tank had shield, flying and +4 speed, at least I would have to hit him twice more to defeat him. I think that was the turning point and the same that tipped the battle more on my side, in the end I had good impressions of Astral despite having beaten him, with a better team he can become a pretty tough nut to crack.

Sinceramente pude vencer a causa de las espinas de Djinn Chawla, del resto habría perdido, fue un poco estresante ver como mis cartas fallaban, pero a su vez bastante gratificante observar cómo se hacían daño a causa de las espinas de mi tanque. Como invocadora use a Daria que me otorga un aumento del ataque físico y del resto use puras cartas con ataque melee enfocadas en la segunda fila enemiga. Afortunadamente pude eliminar a su carta en la última posición primero que a su tanque, eso me facilito el combate, si hubiese sucedido lo contrario habría sido más difícil porque su tanque tenia escudo, volador y +4 de velocidad, como mínimo tendría que golpearle dos veces más para poder derrotarlo. Pienso que ese fue el punto de inflexión y el mismo que inclino más la batalla de mi lado, al final tuve buenas impresiones de Astral a pesar de haberle vencido, con un mejor equipo se puede volver un hueso bastante duro de roer.

Como podrás notar es una carta que vale la pena tenerla, hay invocadores que otorgan un solo efecto y han perdido utilidad, pero este aporta tres, uno contra el enemigo y dos a favor del equipo. Actualmente tiene un costo aproximado de $105 en su edición dorada (level 2) y de $13,80 en su foild regular en el nivel inicial, es probable que pueda bajar un poco más a causa del bear market pero cuando pasemos hacia el bull subirá considerablemente. Por último y para concluir, espero la puedas utilizar y sacarle provecho en tus combates.
