We all remember this screen, flash games represented a big part of our life in the past years.
Today I wanna talk about one of my favourite flash games, and that is PLazma Burst 2, a 2D platformer that I finished at least 4 times.
The game starts pretty normal, with a rather futuristic main menu than other casual flash game, but all of this changes right after you enter the campaign.
The character is fully customizable from body armour to the colour of each part of the body.
In game build achievements, are something unique about this game, some of them are easy, you can complete them just by advancing through the game, and some are more challenging, like the one when you have to kill an enemy after being killed; I found the best way to do this is by using grenades.
The arsenal of weapons is pretty big, all of them are upgradable and each one of them is good for something. They way you get the money for upgrades is by playing the game.
This is an interesting part, as the higher the difficulty you're choosing the more money you'll get for completing the level. This will motivate you to always go for the higher difficulty, even through on the Impossible stage, the enemy's are stronger, can see you through walls, restore their health, you only get 150 out of 750 life from the other difficulties, and on top of it, you will bleed to death if you're life drops under 25 health, so no 1hp heroes around here.
Rather than the casual platformer, this game has some awesome mechanics in my opinion. You can do some parkour moves to climb higher walls and edge grabbing, so you don't need to jump higher than than your target to get there.
Using the environment it's a thing in this game, crashing enemy's with a door or elevator, throwing stuff at them and so on.
The best of them for me is the telepathic powers, that you can use to manipulate pretty much all of the moveable game objects except for the alive enemy's. But you can always throw an explosive barrel at them, or fool around with their dead bodies.
On impossible difficulty the dying enemy's still can shoot at you, so you must be sure that they are dead, or revenge will be theirs.
Overall this game is a lot of fun, you should check it out if you have some free time, before flash will lose it's support.
