Changes come to Gods Unchained

Greetings all! After a long period of little news, much has been happening in Gods Unchained over the past two weeks.

Last week was big as we finally had the introduction of Season One (you can buy packs now on the official website! Cards can be purchased and played with, but they cannot be sold or traded until after the balancing is completed.

And speaking of which, we just had our first balance patch for S1 cards right before the Weekend Tournament started!

The patch brought some much appreciated changes to Jaguar Staff and Might is Right. Might Makes Right had the Leech effect removed and Jaguar Staff had its durability halved and its attack strength increased by one. You can see the new cards below.

Forage also received a nerf (it only destroys 4 cards now rather than 6), and a few other cards were tweaked as well. You can read the post on that here

The other change that landed this week involves tweaks to the Ranked Weekend Reward Tiers. The basic gist of the whole thing is that Mythic level players will be receiving better rewards than the other ranks. This is to encourage Mythic level players to stay at their usual rank rather than purposefully de-ranking to try and combat more lower-ranked players to boost their win totals.

Good to see things moving again on the Gods Unchained front. But we really, really need the long rumored ImmutableX or some other sidechain solution that will make selling and trading cards a feasible reality.
