Today I will be sharing with you my first purchase of these packages and my point of view from the new update, I consider it a good time to sit down and think about the future of said project taking into account all the new updates and how they transform the gameplay as we usually knew it.
Is this the first time you're hearing about Splinterlands and NFTs? Let me summarize for you. With the rise of cryptocurrencies, crypto games emerged, which have transformed the way we have fun and revolutionized the world of entertainment. The combination of blockchain technology and gaming has given us a wide variety of options, while opening the doors to exciting opportunities for innovation and collaboration. However, Splinterlands and Hive go a step further by introducing the concepts of #Play2earn and #Post2earn, allowing you to monetize your income while having fun and building relationships on social media.

As usual, I will be sharing with you a direct link to the main publication, this way you can read all the terms and conditions to participate in this new week of challenges. I chose to try my luck and make the small purchase of a couple of packages, I wanted to see up close the entire transition and game effects at the time of opening. Also, a gold card from the new edition would be great for my collection deck. I particularly prefer to play with cards from the older editions, and I'm thinking about accumulating some of the new ones and renting them or delegating them to newer ones who need to strengthen their decks. I still don't understand much of its gameplay and I think I can get better prices for some editions, which I determine are important and may become very valuable in the future.
How are the packs purchased?
This is super simple, there are several ways to acquire them, which both play a fundamental role and have their advantages and disadvantages. If you want to participate in the AirDrop of the new edition, I recommend buying them directly from the main platform, they are a little more expensive, but it allows you to purchase collectible packs which increase the probability of being eligible for one of the characters. Now, if you want to accumulate packs and open large quantities and want to save a little money and don't want to be eligible for AirDrop, you can get your packs through third-party marketplaces like Tribaldex or Hiveengine.
Making the first purchase and opening packages
I will be making purchases irregularly because I am interested in accumulating packages of this new edition and being eligible for the new characters. I consider that these new characters have an impressive set of skills and that they can become very expensive in the future.
As you can see, I have a couple of packages saved from each of the editions, the sum of the total value may not be much, but I witnessed the high speculation that there was at one time for the packages of past editions, where an envelope Untamed was quoted at $72 each and the Alpha and Beta were not even mentioned... The cards had a super high value and the SPS tokens reached an all-time high, both he Dec as he SpS.
This is the main purchase screen, it allows you to purchase high quantities of items and obtain package discounts using vouchers The price of each package is 5,000 DEC and will discount 200 DEC for each voucher, you can use a maximum of 5 vouchers per package.
This is a reference image of what the issue of the discount and payment in DEC would be like at the time of making the purchase, I did not want to burn all my DEC and I decided to leave a little in case a good opportunity presents itself, I ended up buying only 2 packages, if purchases are made constantly you will increase your chances of being eligible for airdrops.
I can't stand the excitement and I'm going to open a pack, store the other and buy again during the week to continue accumulating, these cards have very high prices, if we talk about skills they are also very good, and to obtain a gold card you must open package so I have nothing to lose, I'm going to try my luck and open a pack...
Luck is on my side, A legendary on the first try, If it's not gold I don't bother, I also got 2 rare cards and this was the result of this pack:
I got a strategy summoner which is very versatile, the most resistant card in all of splinterlands, a life sliver card, which is very advantageous when the ranged attack is present, a micro fire tank for low-level battles mana and the great legendary, this card is phenomenal, it has very good attributes
With the value of these cards I practically recovered the purchase of both packs and got some very good editions, I really like this new set of cards and characters, they seem to be very effective and came to change the entire gaming landscape as we usually knew it.
Conclusion
Finally, I consider that this is a good example that reflects the consistent economy of this project, the arrival of the update reflects the dedication and commitment on the part of its leaders to make this ecosystem grow, the investment force with the demand and prices for cards in the new editions. We are in a good time to buy and hold for a few years, Splinterlands has not finished all its updates yet and this is just the beginning of a wonderful world of cards, battles and rewards.

El día de hoy estaré compartiendo con ustedes mi primera compra de dichos paquetes y mi punto de vista desde la nueva actualización, considero que es un buen momento para sentarse a recapacitar sobre el futuro de dicho proyecto tomando en cuenta todas las nuevas actualizaciones y como transforman la jugabilidad como usualmente la conocíamos.

Yo opté por probar suerte y realizar la pequeña compra de un par de paquetes, quería ver de cerca toda la transición y efectos de juego al momento de la apertura. Además, una carta dorada de la nueva edición le vendría muy bien a mi mazo de colección. Yo particularmente prefiero jugar con las cartas de las ediciones más antiguas, y estoy pensando en acumular parte de las nuevas y alquilarlas o delegarlas a los más nuevos que necesiten reforzar sus mazos. Yo aún no entiendo mucho su jugabilidad y creo que puedo obtener mejores precios para algunas ediciones, las cuales determino como importantes y pueden llegar a ser muy valiosas a futuro.
¿Cómo se compran los packs?
Esto es supersencillo, hay varias maneras de adquirirlos, las cuales ambas juegan un papel fundamental y tienen sus ventajas y desventajas, Si deseas participar en los AirDrop de la nueva edición, te recomiendo comprarlos directamente desde la plataforma principal, son un poco más costosos, pero te permite adquirir paquetes coleccionables los cuales aumentan la probabilidad de ser elegible para uno de los personajes. Ahora, si deseas acumular paquetes y abrir grandes cantidades y quieres ahorrarte un poco de dinero y no deseas ser elegible para los AirDrop, puedes conseguir tus paquetes por mercados externos como Tribaldex o Hiveengine.
Realizando la primera compra y apertura de paquetes
Voy a estar haciendo compras de manera irregular porque me interesa acumular paquetes de esta nueva edición y ser elegible para los nuevos personajes, considero que estos nuevos personajes tienen un conjunto de habilidades impresionantes y que pueden llegar a ser muy costosos en un futuro.
Como pueden observar tengo un par de paquetes guardados de cada una de las ediciones, que la sumatoria de valor total quizás no sea mucho, pero fui testigo de la alta especulación que hubo en un momento por los paquetes de las ediciones pasadas, donde un sobre Untamed llego a cotizar 72$ Cada uno y los Alpha y Beta ni se mencionen… Las cartas tenían un valor superalto y los tokens de SPS lograron un máximo histórico, tanto él Dec como él SpS.
Esta es la pantalla de compra principal, te permite comprar altas cantidades de ítems y obtener descuentos de paquetes utilizando vouchers El precio de cada paquete es de 5.000 DEC y descontará 200 DEC por cada vouchers, puedes utilizar un máximo de 5 vouchers por paquete.
Esta es una imagen referencial de como sería el tema del descuento y el pago en DEC al momento de realizar la compra, yo no quería quemar todos mis DEC y dispuse en dejar un poco por si acaso se presenta alguna buena oportunidad, termine comprando solo 2 paquetes, si las compras se hacen constante aumentarás tus probabilidades de ser elegible para los airdrop.
Yo no aguanto la emoción y voy a abrir un paquete, almacenar el otro y entre semana volver a comprar para seguir acumulando, estas cartas tienen unos precios muy altos, si hablamos de habilidades también son muy buenas, y para obtener una carta dorada debes abrir paquete así que no tengo nada que perder, yo voy a probar suerte y dale apertura a un pack…
La suerte está de mi lado, Una legendaria al primer intento, Si no es dorada no me molesto, también obtuve 2 cartas raras y este fue el resultado de este paquete:
Obtuve un invocador de estrategia el cual es muy versátil, la carta más resistente de todo splinterlands, una carta de la astilla de vida, la cual es muy ventajosa cuando el ataque a distancia se hace presente, un micro tanque de fuego para batallas de bajo maná y la gran legendaria, esta carta esta fenomenal tiene muy buenos atributos
Con el valor de estas cartas prácticamente recuperé la compra de ambos paquetes y obtuve unas muy buenas ediciones, me gusta mucho este nuevo conjunto de cartas y personajes, parecen ser muy efectivas y llegaron para cambiar todo el panorama de juego como usualmente lo conocíamos.
Conclusión
Ya para finalizar, considero de que este es un buen ejemplo que refleja la economía consistente de este proyecto, la llegada de la actualización refleja la entrega y compromiso por parte de sus líderes para hacer crecer este ecosistema, también se aprecia la fuerza inversora con la demanda y los precios de las cartas de las nuevas ediciones. Estamos en un buen momento para comprar y holdear durante unos años, splinterlands aún no termina todas sus actualizaciones y este es solo el comienzo de un maravilloso mundo de cartas, batallas y recompensas .
