Black Ops Cold War
The most recent COD update introduced John Rambo (Rambo movies) and John McClane (Die Hard movies). Both are iconic 80s action heroes that are now available as playable characters. Of course they want you to fork over money for these skins, which I refuse to do.
Along with that paid DLC came many new weapons and an updated version of fan favorite map Standoff. This free map alone was enough to get me excited to play some Cold War for the first time in a few months. So I booted up my PS5 and joined a multiplayer lobby.
I still play with the launch weapons, but at least mine are fully upgraded with attachments since I played a ton of this game when it first released last fall. I also played the map Standoff hundreds of times in the past since it was originally released back in Black Ops II. It is also in COD Mobile, which is a surprisingly great game.
It’s a bit annoying that the COD developers are constantly reusing old maps. The nostalgia trip also makes it a great thing. Sure we love brand new content, but it’s really easy to jump back into a game that has maps that are engraved into your mind forever. Standoff is one of those maps.
In this gameplay video I end up being the top dog, despite the fact that I hadn’t played Call of Duty in at least 60 days.
I had my mic on the entire time and I get pretty hyped. This game is so intense, on PS5 especially. The guns feel real thanks to the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Plus add in my Pulse 3D headset and it feels like I’m at war for real. I legit jump every time another play comes around the corner shooting at me.
Have fun watching my gameplay and listening to me talk like a mad man. I’m sure most people who play COD these days are more into Warzone. I however am an OG COD Grizzled Veteran and stick to the regular multiplayer.
I’ve played every COD ever released, even before Call of Duty 2 at the launch of Xbox 360. This includes older titles such as Big Red One and the original Call of Duty. So it’s no wonder I can come back to this game after a long period of time and still be one of the best. Practice isn’t needed much once you’ve mastered a skill.

You just reminded me of how sweet and interesting it was in watching Rambo(first blood) movie over and over again without getting bored. That was my favorite back then and I used to play the video game as well.
I hope to get a PlayStation game someday and try these games out.

Gaming is a great thing, but there are so many different hobbies we can have. Hopefully you're still loving your life each day, even without a new PlayStation.

They should not be very expensive or yes?
The truth is I don't know, I'm not really into that world, I think I've only played Black Ops II and that's a lot.
The characters are outrageously overpriced. Paid dlc is a scorn to the gaming community. Each of these characters cost 2,400 COD Points, which translates to $20/character. That's insane if you ask me. No way in hell would I pay for cosmetic skins, especially on a first person shooter. It's literally pointless except when other players are looking at you.

If it's too useless because as you say Call of Duty is first person Xd and well, they don't serve those aspects.
But friend, it's all based on the hype section, join Rambo's fame with Call of Duty's and it's a good amount of people and they might get Rambo fans to buy a Ps4 and start playing it too. :)

That's why I like multiplayer, you don't have to do missions. Just run around and kill people, pretty simple. Good luck on that PS5. They are still pretty difficult to get. I'm very thankful I was able to secure one at launch.
