Warzone 2.0

The next iteration of the massive free-to-play Battle Royale experience is finally here. Drop into Al-Mazrah and its 18 major points of interest, many of which may seem familiar if you've been playing COD for many years. Solo, squads, and even a third-person playlist will be available.

DMZ

COD's take on the popular extraction-style game mode. This is brand new for the franchise and will work as a great alternative to the standard BR mode in Warzone.

Warzone Caldera

The old Warzone will go offline temporarily to ensure the launch of Warzone 2.0 goes smoothly. Sometime before the year's end, it will come back as Warzone Caldera and a separate experience from MWII and Warzone 2.0's modes.

New multiplayer maps

Two of the most popular maps from previous COD titles will be making a comeback. Their small and chaotic nature will make leveling up weapons a much quicker process. Both Shoot House and Shipment will be reimagined in a whole new way. Shoot House will be available at the start of Season 1. Shipment arrives mid-season.

Call of Duty League

The CDL is still prepping its actual start, but until then there will be a warm-up playlist full of competitive players. This should help separate the casual community from the hardcore a bit. Rankings don't start just yet, but this will be a good way to test your skills.

Spec Ops and Raids

The co-op mode will be receiving a new mission called High Ground in preparation for the start of the first raid.

New weapons

As if there weren't enough weapons in MWII already, there will be 4 new ones coming with Season 1. Some will be unlockable through the Battle Pass (more on that later) and others will be available in store bundles or weapon unlock challenges. These weapons like all of the others will be useable in Multiplayer, Special Ops, and Warzone 2.0 modes.

World Cup Operators

Some of the best pro football/soccer players in the world are coming to MWII in preparation for the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar. Neymar Jr of Brazil, Pogba of France, and Messi of Argentina will all be available for purchase in the store.

A new type of Battle Pass

Instead of a linear stream of tiers set out in a scrolling row along the bottom of your screen, your Battle Pass takes the form of a multi-Sector map. It sounds a lot like how Fortnite is doing their Battle Pass now, giving players the choice to unlock certain things before others.

Persistent Prestige

Leveling up past the standard max rank of 55 will allow you to earn a persistent prestige Rank across all seasons, rather than having it reset at the end of each season. reaching Rank 56 will unlock Prestige 1. This will grant an emblem, additional rewards, and a set of challenges that lead to an exclusive calling card. Season 01 includes four more Prestige Ranks, which also unlock a new set of challenges and rewards:

Prestige 2: Unlocked at Rank 100
Prestige 3: Unlocked at Rank 150
Prestige 4: Unlocked at Rank 200
Prestige 5: Unlocked at Rank 250 and is the level cap until the end of Season 01.

At the end of Season 01, players can continue ranking up from wherever they ended up on the Prestige Ranks. This allows players who may not have enough time to level up to catch up in later seasons, while also not resetting the progress of anyone who reached the Max Rank during that season.

I like his cheek armor.. VERY important! :P

but yea.. looks like an awesome game! 💪😎😉🤙

That armor and another one are actually rumored to be inspired by the Star Wars armor. No official confirmation about that and I think it's more likely that one of the designers was a Star Wars fan and may have drew some inspiration.

These games just gets better and better broh. I really need to start pimping up the pc and fall back into competetive gaming 😂😂

Without a doubt 😎

Woah super cool! Makes me want to play the game. If only I have spare time
Seeing the pro players in the game is actually amazing. I wonder if many people will buy them in the store.

I know the struggle of not having spare time. Luckily I’ve had a lot of time here lately to play.

Although I won’t purchase the characters, many people will. Most of the money from COD is made through the lucrative microtransactions and Battle Pass.

I liked the backpack in the game it can help us during fight with a set of armor and ammo and the nice thing it doesn't affect our speed or movement

the nice thing it doesn't affect our speed or movement

But if it would be realistic, then it would. A heavy backpack would slow you down. The heavier the backpack is, the slower you go. I do not know the attributes of the backpack in this game (I have not played it so far), but the items you carry in your backpack should have a weight and space value. The weapon you hold should also affect your speed. Of course I have not tried this game so far, so I currently do not know how much realism is in it.

Yes it's logical thank you

I hope the loot is as easy to manage as it is in Fortnite.

Those looks like a really great upgrade!

I appreciate this update, maps will contain more surprises and resources to take profit and advantage, when using weapons to increase odds at taking down enemies.

I’m so ready for more COD content. Keep it coming Infinity Ward.

It's good to have time to rise to the top and finish the first season in top shape.
I can't wait to open Prestige

I’ve been sitting at LVL 55 just waiting got them to add prestige. I know I’m ready.

I see that you are very enthusiastic about the game friend. keep enjoying it

I see that there are many updates for the game, those of the new weapons sounds very interesting, besides that other personalities worldwide could play it

ese juego siempre me gusto lo malo que mi pc nunca copero para correr el juego xD
