Stacking boxes shouldn't be this fun 📦🤔🧩

The PS Plus game catalog has changed how I go about selecting which video games I take the time to play. If it wasn't for this membership, there is no way I would have discovered even half of the gems I've played in the past year. Today, I have yet another under-the-radar game that I discovered thanks to the PS Plus game catalog. This one is a couch co-op puzzle/platformer called Pile Up! Box by Box.

Pile Up! Box by Box is a charming and whimsical 3D platformer that invites players to embark on a delightful cooperative adventure through a variety of colorful and imaginative worlds. Developed by Seed by Seed and published by HandyGames, the game offers a lighthearted and family-friendly experience, encouraging teamwork and creative problem-solving as players navigate a series of engaging levels. As players stack, balance, and maneuver a collection of adorable cardboard boxes, they encounter a host of puzzles, obstacles, and quirky characters, fostering a sense of camaraderie and shared enjoyment.

With its emphasis on cooperative play and accessible gameplay, Pile Up! Box by Box provides an inclusive and engaging experience for players of all ages. The game's endearing art style, vibrant environments, and intuitive controls create a welcoming and approachable atmosphere, ensuring that players can easily immerse themselves in the whimsical world of cardboard construction. Whether playing solo or with friends, Pile Up! Box by Box encourages players to unleash their creativity, discover hidden secrets, and embark on a heartwarming journey filled with laughter and discovery.

The game's collection of diverse and inventive levels, coupled with its emphasis on teamwork and creative expression, has garnered attention for its ability to deliver a joyful and uplifting gaming experience. Pile Up! Box by Box captures the spirit of lighthearted fun and cooperative play, offering players an opportunity to engage in imaginative and collaborative gameplay, making it an ideal choice for families and friends seeking a delightful and endearing adventure.

I took the time to 100% complete the first world before taking the time to make a video about this game. I was playing using PS Remote Play away from home, which worked flawlessly by the way. I wasn't able to record during that, plust I wanted to get a full understanding of the game before starting the video.

Let me say that this game is simple, yet challenging on the brain. There are only a few buttons you'll be pressing. Move, jump, dash, and throw. It's a great game to play with somebody who isn't super familiar with video games. If you are like me and an expert gamer, even you can have some fun. I've been playing solo and I've had a blast so far. See for yourself in my first impressions gameplay video below.

Thanks for watching and be sure to drop any comments you may have down below, I will get back to everyone.

Doesn't quite look like my kind of game but could be fun with @emuse. I was oogling over the cosmic red dualsense at the store today. I wanted to pull the trigger but felt dumb to pay $80 just to play games with a different colored controller.

It was fun for a few hours solo. It fits right into to my urge to complete gaming mentality.

As for the controller, yeah probably not worth it. I bought the starlight blue because my original white got stick drift. Then a few months in the blue one got drift and my white one magically stopped drifting. I have no clue wtf is up with these controllers. DualSense edge is probably worth it if you’re willing to invest double the money. At least you can swap those sticks out.

This reminds me of when I used to play ilomilo+ on my laptop with Windows 8- I haven't played it in many years but I remember it being pretty fun, and the crafted vibes of what you played reminded me of it for the first time in a long time.

Seems like the type of game I would definitely enjoy if I don't forget that it exists to try it out someday. And maybe it might even run well on my PC if I did if the minimum requirements happening to name the exact GPU I have are true.

In any case I'm glad that you were able to enjoy a game like this recently :)
