I'm glad I got to see how pretty this looked on my fancy tv. Heck, even the DualSense controller was made use of properly. Those are two things that normally would get me hooked, but I just cannot do the repetitive mashing of the same two or three buttons just to clear hordes of enemies without any skill needed.
I think indie games are lucky that they do not suffer from big heads trying to find the most profitable methods for their game. Indie devs can let their passion shine through.
