I've been playing Bitcoin Miner for about a year now, so I thought it's about time to write a little review.
If you don't know what Bitcoin Miner is, it's a pretty classic mobile idle mining game like Idle Miner Tycoon, except that you can earn Bitcoin (or more like Sats) by playing it. There's a few ways on where in the game you can get Satoshis:
- randomly showing up in the mine as a power up (you have to always tap them manually to catch them)
- from the daily check in
- from digging your mines deeper
- from daily rewards every few days
- from the events happening twice a week
That's actually quite a handful of ways to earn a few Sats, and the exact rate will depend on your geographic location. You might want to play around with your VPN to find out what works best for your location, the differences are pretty big.
I've personally been claiming the daily check-in for over 120 days, so that alone accounts for over 6000 Sats.

The game can afford to pay you Sats for playing because they share their revenue from in-game purchases and ads with the players. How sustainable that is, I don't know, but the fact that they've been around (and paying) for so long gives me confidence, and I actually think that's a pretty solid pattern which will become more popular in the next wave of Web3 gaming.
Cashing out
If you want to cash out your Sats, you'll have to download the ZBD app. It's kind of a (Lightning) wallet and game rewards platform, but I haven't really been able to earn much from the rewards in their platform. I can write a separate review on ZBD another time.
In order to cash out or use ZBD in general, you'll have to switch your VPN off. Cashing out is allowed every 24h, and again the limit per day will depend on your geographic location.
How much you can earn
It's kinda hard to tell how much you can earn based on the location differences, so I can only tell you how much I've made. I'd say I've earned about 40k Sats so far, but I haven't been playing very actively the last few months, mainly claiming the dailies and playing the weekly events.
I've spent about 7 bucks to buy the "no ads" IAP, which is very handy because you can just claim every boost without having to watch ads (I don't think I've experienced forced ads, ever). I think this purchase allowed me to significantly more Sats, but I can't guarantee it's gonna have a positive ROI for everyone (this will depend on your location, the amount of time you'll spend playing and of course on how long the game will continue to pay the same way they used to).
If you have any questions about the game, let me know. If there's enough interest in this game, I can also write a comprehensive strategy guide.
And if there's anything new you learned from this post, please use my ZBD download link when onboarding and punch in my invite code for Bitcoin Miner once you've downloaded the game. You'll get a little boost for entering the code VXUBOE.
I didn't know about that platform, it looks interesting. Although it doesn't seem to be very sustainable in the long term.
Thanks for sharing your experience. Best regards!
