Double Dash will probably always be my favorite just because it was the first Mario Kart I really played significantly. However, there wasn't anything wrong with the Wii iteration of Mario Kart. The motion controls were gimmicky but if you stuck with traditional controls the game was fine. You could argue that there wasn't enough that was new but the game wasn't bad.
