The PS1's and PS2's laser lens is weak and unreliable. It only lasts for less than 2 years of daily gaming of minimum of 6 hours. The PSP is even worse.

I wonder how long the PS3 and PS4 laser lens last? I hope the PS5 laser lens last longer.
