Greetings, fellow human gamers, how’s it going…
Today I want to focus on a specific niche within the game @splinterlands, and that’s the DEATH class which I personally feel is one of the most powerful right now because of all the synergies we can create with the cards from the current sets in the game.
In this post, I’ll cover several topics that you’ll find in this small menu, so you can jump to the part that interests you most. These are the topics I’ll be covering:
- Death in Frontier
- Death in Modern
- The best cards (in my opinion)
- The new card that just arrived and my final thoughts
🟣Death in Frontier
When this mode came out, this class had some of the highest prices in the market, since it basically countered everything, and even months later, it’s still very strong in that mode.
As some of you know, my strategy in that mode was to focus on one class I chose Earth at the time because prices weren’t that high but every time I played against Death, I would lose, since it has some very powerful cards for that format, and even at level 1, they can really put up a fight.
🟣Death in Modern
I feel there’s an interesting strategy here: combining cards from the Foundations set with the current Modern sets, because I think they’ve received really good reinforcements. While they shine in Frontier mode, there could be some crazy synergies in Modern too.
The good thing is you can now get a level 4 summoner for a very affordable price to power up your cards in this mode since before, Death summoners used to be very expensive. But thanks to Frontier, we can now explore new possibilities in Modern.
Here are some important lineups you might want to keep on your radar.
🟣The Best Cards (in my opinion)
I won’t be covering any Gladius cards here, since they’re barely used nowadays. Also, I should clarify that this list reflects my personal taste, though I’ll try to be objective and briefly go over the ones I think are the best.
Thalgrimore: I’m including this one because it’s a very good summoner that you can easily take to its max level either by earning it in chests or buying a few on the market. The potential lies in the fact that you can play epic cards at level 3 and legendary cards at level 2 at max efficiency.
Arachne Weaver: This spider friend is amazing because she can heal your entire lineup and has great synergy with cards that deal damage here’s where some interesting combos can happen.
Little Sister: This is a really interesting card because it buffs its health every time it attacks, and at level 2 it learns Flying, which increases its dodge chance (not sure why flying cards have a higher chance 😅). Plus, it’s immune to Earthquake.
Thraghun: This card becomes really powerful at level 4. As I mentioned before, Death summoners used to be expensive, which made it hard to play it at that level but now, with what I explained earlier, this card really shines. The good thing is that it’s from the current set, so you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it.
🟣The New Card & My Opinion on the Class
Just a few days ago, a new card called Moros Malik was released it belongs to the Orc class and I think it has great potential at max level, since it deals 2 damage. But the best part (and I believe I’m not mistaken here) is that it’s the only archer that can attack the backline. This makes it a very interesting card, and the best part is that you can get it from Frontier chests or packs.
As for the class itself, I’ll say it again: Death is very powerful. I think I’ll give it a try in Modern mode once I get my cards to max level, since it’s becoming a more affordable option. I hope you keep it on your radar and notice that this class has many amazing cards even ones I didn’t cover in this post.

Hoy quiero centrarme en un nicho dentro del juego de @splinterlands y es la clase de MUERTE la cual siento que es una de las mas poderosas actualmente por todas las sinergias que podemos hacer con las cartas de los actuales sets que hay en el juego.
En este post tocare varios temas que encontraras en este pequeño menú, para que vallas a la parte que mas te interese y estos son los temas tratados:
- Muerte en Frontier
- Muerte en Moderno
- Las mejores cartas según yo.
- La carta nueva que llego y mi opinión final
Muerte en Frontier
Bueno cuando sale este modo esta clase era la que tenia los precios mas elevados en el mercado, ya que prácticamente le hacia counter a todo, e incluso meses atrás sigue estando muy fuerte en dicho modo. Si bien saben mi estrategia en dicho modo era centrarme en una clase y escogí la de tierra en ese entonces, ya que los precios no eran tan elevados, pero siempre que jugaba contra esta clase perdía ya que tiene unas cartas muy fuertes para dicho modo que incluso en nivel 1 dan la pelea.
Muerte en Moderno
Siento que por aqui puede ser una estrategia interesante y es combinar las cartas del set Foundations y las del set actuales en moderno, ya que siento que le han dado muy buenos refuerzos que aunque brillan en el modo Frontier pueden haber sinergias locas en Moderno.
Lo bueno es que te podes hacer un invocador nivel 4 muy económico para potenciar las cartas en dicho modo ya que antes los invocadores de muerte eran muy costosos, pero gracias al modo Frontier podemos explorar nuevas posibilidades en Moderno.
Aquí te muestro algunas alineaciones importantes que podrías tener en el radar.
Las mejores cartas
Bueno aqui no tocare las cartas ni de Gladius porque esas cartas ya casi ni se usan y bueno aclaro que este es mi gusto personal aunque trato de ser objetivo y hablare muy por encima de las que para mi son las mejores.
Thalgrimore: lo pongo ya que es un invocador muy bueno que puedes llevar hasta su nivel máximo muy económicamente, ya sea jugando y que te salga en los cofres o comprar algunos en el mercado. El potencial esta en que podes jugar cartas épicas de nivel 3 en su nivel máximo y cartas legendarias de coste 2.
Arachne Weaver: esta amiga arácnida es muy buena ya que puede curar a toda tu alineación y tiene sinergias con las cartas que hacen daño, aquí un combo interesante.
Little Sister: esta carta es bien interesante ya que bufa su salud cuando ataca y en el nivel 2 aprende Flying con lo que incrementar sus posibilidades de esquivar ( no se porque las cartas que vuelan tienen mas probabilidad ) y ademas es inmune al terremoto.
Thraghun: esta carta es bien poderosa en su nivel 4, como dige anteriormente al ser los invocadores de dicha clase tan costosos no la podría jugar en dicho nivel, pero con lo que te explique esta carta brilla mucho.
Lo bueno es una carta del set actual, así que tienes un buen tiempo para disfrutarla.
LA NUEVA CARTA Y MI OPINIÓN DE LA CLASE
Bueno hace un par de días sacaron esta carta llamada Moros Malik es de la clase Orco y siento que tiene potencial en su nivel máximo ya que hace 2 de daño, pero lo mejor y creo que no me equivoco que es el único arquero que ataca a la retaguardia. Es bien interesante esta carta y lo mejor te puede salir en los cofres o sobres del modo de juego Frontier.
En cuanto a la clase sigo diciendo que muerte es bien poderosa y siento que le daré una oportunidad en el modo Moderno cuando ya tengas mis cartas a nivel máximo ya que se crea una oportunidad mas económica. Espero que la tengas en el radar y notes que esta clase tiene muchas cartas buenísimas que incluso no toque en este post.
