DCORE: Scarce HIVE token for demon slayers

What is DemoniCore?

DemoniCore is a simple and fun play-to-earn game, where you conjure demons to battle in PvE turn-based RNG combat, reminiscent of old-school RPG games.

DCORE

Tokenomics

The sole token of DemoniCore is DCORE, which can be traded on any exchange that supports Hive Engine tokens, such as Hive Engine and Tribaldex.

DCORE (as of 2025-10-27):

  • One DCORE is worth
    • 0.000165 HIVE
    • $2.0e-05 USD
  • Total DCORE
    • Supply: 1,552,001
    • Circulating: 1,551,991
    • Total staked: 735,716 (47.4%)

Philosophy

The overarching philosophy of DemoniCore is "keep it simple", and this mandate extends to the game's tokenomics. Instead of a complicated ecosystem with numerous different cryptocurrencies to keep track of, we opted for a single token, DCORE, that is used for all in-game transactions, and which can be traded freely on Hive Engine.

Scarcity

Unlike many other play-to-earn games, DCORE has a very limited supply, and is designed to stay that way. The total supply currently stands at 1.55 Million tokens.

DCORE is regulated by a unique emissions mechanism that only mints new tokens on an as-needed basis, with a hard cap on new token supply. If the game's reward pool decreases below a 66,000 DCORE threshold, DemoniCore will mint new DCORE in 10,000 token increments until the reward pool exceeds the minimum threshold.

The amount of new DCORE minted can never exceed 240,000 per day.
Keep in mind that this represents the theoretical maximum allowed inflation by the system - the actual inflation is much lower.

Battle

Uses

DCORE is the currency that DemoniCore rewards players with for successfully slaying and exorcising demons. In turn, players can spend DCORE to upgrade their stats, purchase potions to reduce their Insanity level, and buy NFT cards on Hive NFTs to enhance their gameplay experience.

House Demons is an exciting new game mode, providing yet another use case for DCORE! Summon your own loyal demons, powered by AI, whose looks and personas are limited only by your imagination. Your house demons will generate income and communicate with you - even responding to your messages - with the personalities that you crafted for them!

We always strive to come up with new ways to provide DCORE sinks, and we reserve the right to iterate on balancing gameplay mechanics, rewards, and prices to keep the game economy healthy for players and investors.

To our players

As always, thank you for your love and support - without you, there is no DemoniCore. For anyone who hasn't yet played, please give DemoniCore a try!

I'm finally set on summoning and adopting a brand new house demon! I'm thinking a little more clearly now that I'm finally regaining a little more of my ingame Sanity. I do have one question, though. What does not/checking the box "Active for territory upon creation" do?
