Play this game if you want to break up with your girlfriend / fred and bread

My relationship with cooperative games isn't very good; I'm not good at following instructions or making sure another person keeps up with me.

So you can imagine, a game like this that forces players to cooperate would be a nightmare for me.

I played Bred & Fred because my girlfriend was wanting to play a game with me, and I couldn't think of a local one because we don't have another computer.

And out of nowhere, this game appeared. Due to its graphics and how simple it seemed, I was interested.

But it's not easy at all.

It's in a sweet spot where the first levels are manageable even for someone who's never touched a controller like my girlfriend.
But once you get the hang of the basics, it gets very difficult very quickly, to the point where it can become frustrating. There are many faces in the middle and a possible divorce.

It's frustrating from the start, and the game uses the laws of physics very well to design its gameplay mechanics, getting us into tremendous trouble every time we fail to jump or throw our partner.

It's a A game that can also be played single-player and even has a funny explanation of how we climb the mountains: it's by means of a rock that we'll have to keep close to us at all times, and we'll have to constantly throw it and balance on it.

It's less complicated than coordinating two human beings (one of whom had never touched a controller in his life), but it's equally fun, and the point of the game isn't lost.

We have the meters we've advanced on the side of the mountain, and as this increases, the sense of risk and the need to be sure of each balance increases.

This penguin game punishes very severely if you miss a jump, and even if you go all the way down to the beginning of the mountain.
There are no checkpoints or levels to pass; it's just a direct path to the top where we have to be careful with every step we take.

I wasn't very demanding with my girlfriend because I know she doesn't play video games like I do, but even I, who love platform games, had a hard time learning some climbing techniques.

How to maintain balance and use your partner to propel yourself to a ledge that's far away. That may be a game noise, and it can certainly throw a tantrum, but like I said, I didn't get that mad at my girlfriend until she complained that I'd made a bad jump.

It's great in many ways. On one hand, I'd never played a video game that focused on co-op and was so similar to games where we try to climb a mountain or go rock climbing.

I didn't expect it to be so difficult.

We spent approximately two hours trying to climb the mountain and could only get to a depth of 10 meters. To give you an idea, that's just two platforms above the base.

It was a complex game with my girlfriend, although she later left and let me play in single-player mode, and there was a bit more progress and understanding of the mechanics.

Now, I'll just explain to her how to do it on certain occasions where we have to hang and balance to reach a platform. I'm sure it can be done, and we'll definitely try it next time.

Do I recommend it? If you want to break up with your girlfriend, this is surely the right game for you.

It's also the right game if you want a platform adventure that's different from what she's wearing and that depends on your skill and logical thinking.

If you're looking for all of that with a touch of adrenaline, I'm sure this penguin-climbing title will be ideal for your afternoons.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH, SEE YOU
