The Heavy Metal and Target Practice rules create an explosive synergy that transforms the battlefield into a chaos of magic damage and accurate attacks. Understanding how to take advantage of these conditions can be key to dominating combat.
🎸 Heavy Metal
Only monsters with some type of armor can be used in the match. Avoid using monsters with low health. Prioritize units with Void Armor to reduce the impact of magic reflection. Monsters with Healing or Tank Heal are valuable for sustaining the team.
🎯 Target Practice
All monsters gain the Snipe ability, directly attacking enemies with ranged or magic attacks that are not in the first position.
Protect your mages and archers with Camouflage, Phase, or High Speed. Use monsters with Taunt to redirect snipe attacks. Place units with Return Fire or Magic Reflect in the Snipe's target positions to punish attackers.

In a game with 37 mana, I came across a game with the rules "Heavy Metal" and "Target Practice." In this game, cards are selected based on their armor appearance, while most of them attack with the Snipe ability. Avina of the Wolf can be a very interesting strategic choice in the Heavy Metal and Target Practice rules, especially because it grants the Heal ability to one of its cards.

Silverblade Fighter can be an excellent tank option in battles with the Heavy Metal and Target Practice rules, especially because of its Void Armor ability, which is extremely valuable in this scenario. This composition takes advantage of Avina's Heal ability to keep its magical attacker alive, while Void Armor and Taunt protect the rest of the team.
At the same time, you have good protection in the front row. The Flank ability allows you to attack from the second position of your deck if you are in the opponent's first position. But a great move was putting a card like Bella Dallin in the second position. 
Thanks to the summoner, I added the Heal ability to this card since it will attract most attacks. Besides being a card with very high melee damage with armor, I can also mitigate some of the opponent's damage with the Shield ability.
If you use a monster with Taunt, like Bella Dallin, all of its attacks will Snipe. will be redirected to him. The Thanalorian Archer's role here is to punish Taunt attackers, depending on their abilities. This serves as a second layer of protection against ranged attacks, especially archers, thanks to its combination with the Shield ability. Placing it behind Taunt allows it to remain protected while contributing damage. The only weakness in this type of strategy would be a card with a Blast ability, which is not the case in this matchup.
Synergy between defense and offense: The combination of Void Armor, Heal, and Taunt creates an extremely resilient frontline. This allows your magical or ranged attackers to operate more freely, even under pressure from Snipe attacks. Granting Heal to a key card completely changes the pace of the battle. When this ability is applied to a unit with Taunt and Shield, like Bella Dallin, she becomes a living wall, absorbing and regenerating incoming damage. The only significant vulnerability of this composition is against cards with Blast, which can hit multiple positions and break the protection. in a chain.
