I think that some of 2K basketball games were the only sports games I played. It was fun for a while but I prefer watching real basketball games than playing basketball games.
Speaking about bargains right now Disco Elysium is just 3,79€ on steam. I believe that when I bought it also had such sale and for me it was probably the best 3,79 I ever spent. For multiple reasons. I bought an awesome game. Also from what I understand most of lead creators of Disco Elysium were tricked and kicked out by some greedy investor(?). I am not entirely sure about that drama behind the game. I just heard that the game was stolen from it's creators in some way. So getting the game legally but paying the least amount possible seemed like a decent way to give only minimum support to the people who now control the company. I think that original creators would still want gamers to play and experience their masterpiece so not buying the game at all seemed like worst option. I asked google and it said that some creators of the Disco are still working in that company. So I will likely buy their new game Zero Parades For Dead Spies as well. Just not sure if I will wait for sale or buy at full price...
No way, that's terrible, but paying the least amount possible is a really good idea.
It's such a shame that the games industry is the way it is, there is too much greed, and it usually ruins great ideas.
I bought a humble bundle course on game design and another course on creating digital assets. Both courses are great, and my intention is to create a small scale game of some sort. I have a few ideas floating around, but I'm still learning.
I would love to gather a small team for a small project and all learn together. I write, and have tons of story ideas
