I heard that Blood of Dawnwalker will be getting super easy difficulty. I think that it is completely not needed- current lowest difficulty is still challenging but not too hard.

Sort:

If that happens, you can just play at higher difficulty levels. I assume they’ll provide some sort of substitute. Man, it would be great if every game had a "noob mode" (some call it Story Mode)—then we wouldn't have to listen to them whining.

I think that those people would still probably be unhappy about something even if noob mode was added.

I honestly understand both sides, because—contrary to appearances—games (especially 3D ones) aren't always that intuitive. I mean, you have to know how to design them so the player doesn't get frustrated or waste time... But here, we're talking about really simple things. My partner managed to get the hang of a lot of this stuff when we played God of War (2018), even though her gaming experience was limited to MS-DOS titles (like me, she got a PC early on) and just a few scattered games released later. It’s doable—you just have to be willing to try—but unfortunately, more and more people are shelving their ambitions and are afraid to even give it a shot :/.
