Earlier, I talked about the game and how I am trying to go deeper on the token economy. in this game also we have a few tokens with different utility in the game. it is similar to the splinderlands where we also have multiple tokens having different utility on the battleground. Some tofu's we can earn by the gameplay and some cannot be earned anymore and for example it can be the dec token.
This week I also placed a buy order but that did not fulfil. apparently the price went up and now I thought of buying with the market price instead of waiting anymore. I believe that it is a good practise to follow that place an order At market demand price and not the seller price but when it does not work then it is better to buy at the seller price. If you want to wait for long time then it's OK else the right practise would be to go forward and buy as per the current market price or you can also call it seller price.
So today I did the purchase and there are some script tokens available on the hive-engine marketplace. Now I need to find the option that how can I move the token into my game account because keeping in the marketplace wallet is not what I wanted to do. Colony is the another token in the game and earlier I discussed how I purchased and what steps I followed to move the token into the game account.
The same process I have to follow with this token as well and I'll show you by the snapshot so that it is easy to understand. I want to mention that people who are already part of the game for some time are aware that how such things work but I still believe that for new players it may not be that much easy.
this is an important phase where you will get to see a lot of information about the token. this includes the token supply along with available liquid supply and how much is locked. You also get to see The price for script and colony tokens both on the same page. For example the current price for SCRIPT is 44 cents approximately.
on this page you can see the options for staking, transfer and get script so I will use transfer for now. We need to select the relevant options and enter the amount on the right field. now because I am trying to make a transfer which will add the token inside the game so I will be choosing the transfer in option.
so I have used the relevant option and validated this transaction using the keychain application. This is a browser based application which we also call it browser extension and it is very easy to use and I recommend it. I got to know about it when I joined through my mentor and I find it very useful. With this application I need not to enter the password every time which saves time and I think the credentials are also highly secure.
So now this balance is received in the game account and I'll be trying to go on the racetrack to start my car racing journey shortly. I will be playing the single player game in the beginning but that is one of the parts where I need to spend some time and figure out. now I have all three types of tokens available in my game account. So these tokens are Credits, COLONY and SCRIPT. Credit has completely different utility in the game where this is like in game currency we can use to buy different NFT cards.
If you are playing Splinterlands game then you'd have also noticed that they have the concept of credits that you can buy using different crypto coins. but basically the value of one thousand credit is worth one dollar and this is not a tradable coin. Similarly I also see that the credit is just like in game currency we can purchase and easily it can be used on the marketplace to buy different things.
The other two coins that are script and colony have the major utility in the game related to the racing of kart. Slowly I'm getting ready to have all the requirements in place but now I need to work on the fuel. I cannot play the multiplayer battle without fuel because it is essential and if I still choose to play then my reward will be zero. You will not be able to earn any reward if you play multiplayer with zero fuel. Because I've got other stuff available with me so I need to work on the fuel part and see how much I can get which will make me put on the right spot and allow me to play some racing with other players.
I have also joined their discord server Where I see people sharing their thoughts about the game. I think this will helped me a lot to learn the game more. It is a big gaming project where learning from the community helps a lot because I can say this with my experience on splinterland. I read many articles talking about splinterlands game and I am also going to spend some time on the moon cart articles. I couldn't find any dedicated community so I think gaming community is going to be the right place where I'll find out some information. I already follow a few popular content writers who often post about the game and this is very helpful for me.
In fact those articles helped me to know about this game and learn some basics one after another. the game looks fun but it will surely need more time for me to learn different parts and slowly and gradually I am growing my game account. The game is built in such a way that there is a lot to explore and I think this is how a game should be where things keep on unfolding time to time. I hope that I will be able to add up more assets to my overall portfolio along with some decent amount of tokens also.
