In the moonkarts game, there are so many assets in the form of NFTs. It is a car racing game where we can earn rewards following the different criteria in the game. So far, for a player, it is important to have those cards along with the tokens, and every card and token has a different purpose in the game. It is a play to our game, so obviously, the better assets you get, the better rewards you get. Till now, I have not started playing the game because I'm still accumulating different assets.
Earlier I purchased some credits that I used to buy cards. After that I spent some money on the other tokens like script and some quantity of colony. Every asset is important and this also includes all tokens and different NFT cards. Packs are also available for the purchase in the market which we can do even though sale is over.
Today I thought of buying the good quantity for colony token and I did it from the internal marketplace. The internal marketplace is caught in a hive-engine, and with keychain also we can swap one asset to another. I used it once before, and today, I also thought of using the key chain for the token swap, and it is very easy, so I like using it. It's like I'm not fixed with any specific method and I prefer using the one I like to use at the point of time. I also use the internal marketplace many times to buy different tokens, and sometimes I also use keychains, so today was the day when I thought of using keychains only.
I used 10 hpd to buy colony tokens, and it was showing that I'd be getting 32,500 tokens for this amount. There will also be a fee on the transaction, and slippage is 5%, which I think is used to manage the price fluctuation.
As I already mentioned, this process is very easy, so I just confirmed the transaction, and it started. You can see on the snapshot that there are multiple steps involved and one after another is happening. You can also see the amount of the fee, which is 245 colony tokens, deducted from the balance that they were supposed to transfer to me. The fee is applicable in every trade so I'm fine with it because even if I go for the internal market, then also there are some charges to deposit hive or HBD.
After the purchase, the tokens were credited to my wallet in the marketplace, and now it is the next step for me to move those tokens over to my game account. This process is not tough, to be honest, and I would say that with a few clicks, you can do it as it's very easy.
Now this transfer is done and I got a success message that these number of tokens are received in my game account which you can also see on the below snapshot.

Now I have those tokens available in my game account and since I had 2000 tokens before so a total of 34500 tokens are available in my game wallet. The next I'm going to do is that I will take all the tokens. I think there is some a P R which I'm not sure however, I believe is taking is good because it will help me in the game down the line.
So now the staking is done, and I'm happy to do this because this is how I can grow my token holding, and it is going to be like a journey in the game for me. I have a bigger goal for this game: I want to have at least one million tokens staked in my game account, and I'm talking about the colony. This token is like the DEC token in the splinterlands game, which offers a fantastic use case within the game ecosystem. And I believe that once this game grows further, it will give more benefits, and the price of this token will also improve, but before that happens, I want to have a decent holding for this coin.
I have just started and I'm happy that I have almost 35,000 tokens in total in my game account but as I said I will continue to do it as and when possible. The other tokens like credits and scripts are also important so I am trying to have all those tokens in some quantity but I am also trying to have a balance between the tokens and card because both are equally important and balance is also crucial.
