That sounds like quite the pre release party. I should perhaps start joining the ones here as well. Though the language barrier might make it slightly difficult. My wife got a mail today that our phantasmal flames booster box is on its way. We'll do some fun drafts at home whenever we share a booster box. Hopefully web get it by Friday so we can have fun this weekend

You were able to buy a booster box, nice. I avoid buying booster boxes now as prices have doubled since Surging Sparks set. Plus they get sold out fast. I go to these prerelease events to open packs as well as buy single cards for playing. Saving some money.
Yeah, once and a while me and my wife buy a booster box and split the boosters. I prefer buying singles, but it is fun to see her get all excited about it
There's this small shop in finland that sells booster boxes sealed and unsealed (the shop owner unseals them before shipping). Unsealed the booster box went for a bit below 150 euro. Not cheap, but doable. It's something else than a generic date night :)
