I would like to talk about the fourth chapter of Horizon Zero Dawn which is called Mother's Heart where Aloy enters the Mother's Heart tribe for the first time for the proving.

Mother's Heart
Main Quest: An outcast since birth, Aloy has never been allowed inside the walls of the Nora capital until tonight's annual festival on the eve of the Proving.

Aloy had to meet Rost outside Mother's Heart and after meeting him, he asked if she was ready or not and Aloy replied in affirmative.

Rost asked Alo to look for the High Matriarch Teersa after getting in there.

And then Rost was talking as if he was leaving Aloy for good and Aloy understood that and she was not happy with that decision of Rost but Rost said he must go where Aloy will never find him.

I got the option to choose what Aloy will say next and I chose "I'll find you" option.
Then Rost left and I headed for the gate of Mother's Heart.

As per the behavior of the gate guard, Aloy wasn't welcome there and she was asked to leave the gate.

Then High Matriarch Teersa opened the gate and told the guard to let Aloy in. Then Teersa told Aloy to go down the path of the right where she'll find an old friend who can't wait to see her but Aloy was confused hearing that as she doesn't have any friends here, not that she can remember but I understood that its Teeb whom Aloy saved as a kid.

I started walking forward to meet this old friend and on the way I interacted somewhere where some peoples were doing BBQ of rabbits and Aloy tried to warm her hands by the heat of the fire.

I've found the old friend and Aloy didn't recognize him first but Teb there helped here reminding him. Then Teb offered Aloy a special outfit that he made for Aloy as a gift.

At first I didn't chose the free suit that Teb offered me but I traded one from him which is a better suit and then Teb asked me to take the gift as well and I did that.
Now Teb is a trader for me where I can trade for outfits and other certain things.
Now I had to go to the Matriarch's Lodge.

Inside was full of tribe peoples with various functions where some were feasting, some were singing and some were narrating stories.

Then there was a place filled with Nora peoples and High Matriarch Jezza offered that someone from another tribe will have an announcement.

As soon as the the announcement started, local peoples started throwing fruits on the announcer as they don't like their tribe cause they were unfair before.

Then someone named Erend cool the air down asking for a chance to express what the announcer wants to announce.

Suddenly, Aloy traced someone with a device same as Aloy has. I started walking towards that man.

He is Olin from somewhere far and he was hesitated to talk to Aloy there after he was talking about a malfunction of the device and left the place as soon as Erend arrived there.

Then Aloy had a little conversation with Erend as well and Erend offered Aloy being a guide if she ever visit Meridian so now we know that Erend is from a place called Meridian.
Then I walked towards High Matriarch's Lodge.

Teersa made a prayer lantern for Aloy as Aloy doesn't have his mother and asked Aloy to light the lantern in memory of her mother.

I got the option to light it in memory of her mother, of herself or of Rost and I chose Rost and I think its the right thing to do as Rost was the one who raised Aloy.

Not just Aloy, others also lighted their lantern and the lantern started flying in the air.

It looked nice.

Then I had to enter the Hunters Lodge where Aloy will spend the night before the Proving.

There was this man guarding the lodge who said bad things about Aloy when she was entering the lodge.

Aloy stopped and talked back to the guard and then closed the door.

There was Bast, the boy who threw a stone on Aloys forehead as a kid and he has grown with sh*tty pride.
Bast was trying to bully Aloy but Aloy wasn't easy with her words and she kept Basts mouth stop for a moment.

The black girl named Vala was happy about Aloy handling Bast and said that should keep him quiet till morning anyway.

Then I headed for the bed and after Aloy sat on the bed, Vala talked to her for a moment and wished her luck for the next morning.

And the quest was completed at that point and the quest will be about the proving.

Looks like Aloy ready for the new mission. That lantern scene! Wow that was cool. They were all flying. I hope Aloy prove herself, we will see in the next episode.
Yes she is so ready and I liked how she taunted Bast (the hater from childhood) although I had options to make the communication stronger.
The lantern scene is really awesome and looked so lovely. Lets see what destiny takes her in the next episode.
