The Outer Worlds is a role-playing game developed by Obsidian Entertainment for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows platforms. It was launched on October 25, 2019 for the aforementioned platforms. The videogame is an open world game, specifically taking us to the space colony of Alción. The story of the game is about a space colony Alcion which is inhabited by people from different planets. In general terms and detailing each of the aspects that I normally play in each of my video game publications, I can tell you that this one looks really good. These aspects are the gameplay, graphics and sounds. The video game has several factions and a branched history that reacts to the player's choices, but I will talk about these later in terms of gameplay and game modes.

Regarding the gameplay, The Outer Worlds starts where the player must first create the character he wants to play with, selecting if he wants the gender to be male or female, his physical features, but this is not the most important thing. Then we go to what really matters, as is the character's characteristics and skills, such as melee attacks, weapon attacks, leadership, charisma, in addition to having other special skills, but these are unlocked as we go up the level of our characters. This last one we are doing as we are completing the different missions and we are gaining a level of reputation within the game. It is important to mention that according to the history of the game, our character was in hibernation for 70 years, like another group of people. After them we move to what is the adventure itself, where we must complete the missions we have in the game, both the main and some secondary. In addition it is important to say to them that the game is in perspective of first person.

Now let's talk about what is combat that can be given in two ways, either by body blows or in turn using different firearms that we are getting as we complete the missions, The important thing about this game is that we can dialogue and use persuasion to avoid combat, something that is new at least to me, which seems to be very good and innovative for different players who like this type of game. As we gain experience or reputation, our character gains skills to be persuasive, intimidating or lying to avoid combat, but in many things this is impossible and that's where the importance of also increasing the skills for combat comes in. The character also gains other resources within the game to move faster in the game, these resources are cans of food, alcoholic beverages, modifiers for our weapons and armor, among many other things.

The player not only has the duty of combat and make the best possible strategy, which in role-playing games is of utmost importance, but also must lead a group of colleagues, which as it does its job, where it improves the combat strength and in turn the resistance of their peers is much better than before. The player must also dedicate time to improve his weapons, with the purpose of making sure that the main objective of the mission is achieved perfectly, in order to obtain experience and new resources. But the most important thing is that the player must develop a series of skills such as science, medicine and engineering. The truth is that the gameplay of this game is quite complete and entertaining which is what is important. The game has a good number of missions both main and secondary, which makes the game not tedious for the players and they can have fun in the best way possible. The history mode is the best, very complete and entertaining.

Graphically the game is correct, with some flaws but nothing that is horrific. What is the modeling of the characters and the textures of the objects that make up the scenarios where the story of the game takes place is very good. The setting is quite detailed and very colorful, which I like a lot. Now, due to the extent of the scenarios in role games, this represents a problem in terms of the fluidity of the game and how long it takes to load the textures, but this is solved by lowering what is the graphic level of the game, which is not very nice for players who like to play with the graphic details to the maximum, but not that it looks very bad that we say. Artistically the game is impressive, the truth is that the designers did an excellent job on it. The visual effects that are given during the battles are good, but what I do not like much in the graphic section of The Outer Worlds is the lighting system that in many things are seen that do not see anything real. Anyway, the graphic section is correct, it is not the best because it has some things that can be better, mainly the load of the textures and scenarios, but this can be easily solved by lowering the requirement for the graphics at least that they are moderate or normal and not high or ultra high as we like in many things.

The sound is something that is quite outstanding in the technical part. The sound effects during the battles are really good, besides the environmental sounds. What is the sound of the dialogues between the characters and companions are well created, they are very clear and fluid. The voices are in English, but there are also some Spanish subtitles that are quite correct. What is the soundtrack is quite good and entertaining and very appropriate to the type of game. The truth is that the sound is very good, perhaps with some details in the voices in English that sometimes is not heard well, but nevertheless this does not opaque how good is the section.

In conclusion The Outer Worlds is a game that is quite entertaining in terms of playability, a very complete and interesting game story. The missions and submions are complete, but the best thing is the combat system that is not always fought but in many things you can dialogue, where the skill of persuasion and even knowing how to deceive is very important. This is a game that combines science, technology and engineering, which is something important that must develop the player in the game apart from the strategies that in role-playing games are very important, graphically the game is fine, but with some errors of fluidity and loads of textures but when you download the graphics this improves dramatically. The sound is the best of the game along with the playability, as it has good dialogues, sound effects and environments. The soundtrack is quite entertaining, very appropriate for the game and has a good variety. For all the mentioned is that I give a 10 to the gameplay, an 8 to the graphics and a 9.5 to the sound.
