This world is incredibly beautiful

After spending several hours without electricity, literally, more than 8 hours without electricity, I kept thinking and a very interesting topic came to mind, the transition from playing in the simple browser, moving from CD and now downloading and installing them from online stores and platforms, without a doubt it has been an incredible advance, how difficult and simple it was years ago (of course, it was another time), compared to today, when everything is much simpler thanks to the internet, without the internet we would be nothing, in fact, without the internet none of you could be reading this, so appreciate it.

This post is 100% dedicated to PCs, I know that many years ago consoles dominated and PCs were simple to work tools, so, without including consoles in this post, what games were famous in your time for PC? That is a question that everyone can give themselves the task of remembering, thinking and answering, Hive has a huge community, and I think that Hive Gaming is one of the best and most active today, answering that question should not be difficult at all, The best thing is that we have users of all ages/periods, much better, since it gives diversity to the theme.

Before there was any type of game for PC, there was the internet, and obviously, there were also many games within it, I remember that I was a big fan of sitting on my dinosaur PC, yes, it was identical to the photo you see above, I've always liked games, at that time I had a DS and my sad GameBoy that my cousin smashed on the ground :(. So after I got bored I always opened the browser and typed "games", which was my key phrase, The next word could be from cooking to torture, the truth is that this was my innocent way of looking for online games.

And something always came out, I got tired of playing browser games because they were just too simple, but at my age, nothing was simple, everything was new and I loved it. I played too much a game called gun blood, it was like in the old west, two guys with a revolver, and a counter started from 1 to, and as soon as it finished, you had to aim and try to shoot the other opponent before he killed you, always I was a fan of cooking games, I cooked pizzas, hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, salads, etc. The truth is that those games were happiness for me.

Currently, I think that very few users play online, not even today's children do it thanks to consoles or PC games, it's sad, but it's all due to something, evolution. Evolving is something important, it is about closing cycles and starting new cycles, and that really applies to everything. Browser games always are and will be great, I was a fan of an incredible saga, I don't know if they ever went to the next level and decided to create a real game, but hey, I sat with my cousin and my sister all day to play Uphill Rush...

Source

This game was the best, it's a 2D where you advance through a long list of levels and modes, a very difficult mode was to beat the opponent, they literally never made a mistake and we, well, always did our best, but it was almost never possible to win :(, this saga has more than 8 games, and absolutely all of us play them, extreme sports, water sports, skateboarding, and much more, without a doubt it is one of the sagas that I remember the most and that brought me the best moments.

Obviously, I also played the majestic Doom, did you think I would forget? I don't remember the date, but I was a little older and things were moving faster, I remember I was crazy to play Counter Strike 1.6 and literally forced my mom to buy me the game CD, but guess what? My mom asked about CS 1.6 and they gave her the best, a kind of orange box (of the time) with Half-Life and CS 1.6, I was almost about to cry with emotion and happiness hahaha. I loved it and that was one of my first interactions with real titles, and games outside the browser (ON PC, I repeat ON PC, I already had several consoles XD).

Source

I think EVERYONE went through a transition like this unless you were born in 2010 XD, but we all lived in the era of non-stop browser gaming, and I quite liked playing there, I think that was where I discovered my love for computers since there was literally everything inside them XD. In fact, I remember that once I was playing a Christian browser game, I was a Christian ninja who killed bad guys, the truth is that there are too many random games XD, I don't know if that game is still alive, but WTF XD?

Conclusion:

So the real question is; At what point do we go to the next level without realizing it? I had never thought of things as I told them, and the technological progress that has existed up to now is incredible, now browser games are in a tailspin and real games are taking over the market. It's something like TV and Streaming platforms, by God, who watches TV in 2022? That's what I mean, who plays in the browser in 2022? It's amazing haha, leave me your opinion in the comments, I think it's a very beautiful topic to talk about. Thank you for reading this far!

Browser-based games, in my opinion, are a relic of the past. I first started using a PC for entertainment purposes back in 1996 and I loved my old Apogee games like Monster Bash and Wacky Wheels, and there was Jazz Jackrabbit which my uncle introduced me too and I loved it. I used to open Microsoft Encyclopedia Encarta and play the games hidden inside that. 😆

Even back then I didn't really play browser based games. I loved Neopets in the early 2000's. And there was something called Kings of Chaos and Utopia. Those were the only browser-based games I played. I dabbled in Facebook Games for maybe half a year before I got bored of them. 😆

Splinterlands was the first "recent" browser based game I played... and I stopped playing it because it was an automated card game you play in a browser. WoooOOoooOooo, riveting. I guess I'm still playing Rising Star, but I wouldn't really consider that a game, to be honest. Set mission and go. ~ Can't wait for "real" games to become entwined with our blockchain. xD

Oh sorry for replying late XD, I had a problem with my connection. And yes, you are right, they are completely a relic, in fact, there are still millions of people hooked on browser games, only there will come a point where they will cease to exist, or so I think.

Facebook games were very good, I really still don't understand why they disappeared :( I was very happy hahaha.
