The game that destroys keyboards
It's been almost a week without posting anything, but this is because I had some problems with the electricity in my house, it's already solved. Throughout that time I was also very addicted to Only Up! I found out about this game thanks to Twitch streamers, and the truth is that I've been very addicted to watching them play, sadly I can't play it because my PC is disgusting (if we compare it with the Only Up! requirements) although I haven't either. tried to download, but maybe I can run it with low graphics, anyway, this game seemed interesting to me because of many aspects that I would like to mention today.
Only Up! For those who don't know it, it's basically a parkour game, but it's not the typical parkour game you might be used to, it's more of a fanciful parkour, nothing to do with, for example, Mirror's Edge, the famous parkour game that suit months ago, well, it doesn't look like it at all, really the parkour from Only Up! It's not parkour. Maybe it sounds a bit confusing, but here we can only jump and run, it's very simple and the game doesn't get complicated at all, although it's fucking crazy and the difficulty level is insane.
There have been many similar games, but they are not especially about parkour, one of them is Getting Over It, this game was about basically the same thing, climbing and climbing with your mallet until you reach the top, well Only Up! is the same but this time we have parkour, and of course, the gameplay is not as complete as in Getting Over It. Only Up! It's a great game, at the beginning of playing it doesn't count for almost anything, we're a boy who apparently we're poor or live in a neighborhood, that's what it seems like because damn, what an ugly place we barely appear hahaha. After that, just by looking up we can realize that this is crazy.
Let's see, the interesting thing about this game itself is the extreme and mega difficult parkour that we will do, the main reasons for its difficulty are basically that we are doing parkour literally going up to fucking space, and another point is that we don't have railings or something like that that they will take care of us from falling, nope. Here it's just us and our skills against the world, or rather, parkour. The map is huge, but not as expected, it's huge because we have a lot to cover while parkouring.
There are several starting points to do parkour, you can choose the one you like the most, and literally, you just have to start climbing and climbing, as I tell you here we can't do much more than run, walk and jump. Our character also has a very interesting ability which is to stop time, so we can calculate our jumps more precisely, because if you are more than 5000m high you want to make the perfect jump, obviously making a mistake will not be an option.
And the complexity of this game is precisely that, the parkour that we will do is not normal, they are just things stacked on top of others and literally, I am not lying when I tell you that the journey to the end of the game is very long. Worst of all and what really made Only Up! It's its level of complexity, here we don't have any kind of checkpoint or something like that, nope, you can't even save the game, for obvious reasons. It's just non-stop until you reach the top and that's it, that means that if you've been playing for about 5 hours and suddenly some lag, bug, error, miscalculation, or whatever makes you fall, start crying right now because there will be no going back. The most you can do is try to plan with your character and land on one of the platforms below, all this so that you don't fall all the way to the bottom (which is obviously not the idea).
Many streamers have reported that Only Up! It's tricked, and the truth is that I also thought so, I saw many jumping abnormally, and the character literally falls by himself, it doesn't seem like a mistake, far from it, that used to happen at any height of parkour, but obviously it's something very stressful. I also saw how they destroyed their keyboards, mouses, chairs, and tables, anyway, this game drives you crazy. It's cool since I haven't seen something like this in a long time, a game that brings out the most competitive in you.
Another of the genius of Only Up! It is the graphic level, the game is beautiful, and it has many biomes, many, you can really go up and find parkours of all kinds, junk, cars, clothes, garbage, houses, stairs, I don't know, absolutely everything can be found there. You can even see biomes of snow, sand, rain, dirt, desert, forest, and much more, this game is very well done. Only Up! It's fucking crazy, personally, I would never play it, I know that my keyboard would end up destroyed from so many hits and I really don't want to damage it, I appreciate it very much.

El juego que destroza los teclados
Llevo casi una semana sin postear nada, pero esto se debe a que tuve algunos problemas con la luz en mi casa, ya está resuelto. En todo ese momento estuve también muy viciado a Only Up! este juego lo conocí gracias a streamers de Twitch, y la verdad es que he estado muy enganchado a verlos jugar, tristemente yo no puedo jugar porque mi PC es un asco (si la comparamos con los requisitos de Only Up!) aunque tampoco lo he intentado descargar, tal vez pueda correrlo en gráficos bajos, en fin, este juego me ha parecido interesante por muchos aspectos que hoy quisiera mencionar.
Only Up! para el que no lo conozca es básicamente un juego de parkour, pero no es el típico juego de parkour al que tal vez estés acostumbrado, es más que todo parkour fantaseoso, nada que ver con por ejemplo Mirror's Edge, el famoso juego de parkour que traje hace meses, bueno, no se parece en absolouto, realmente el parkour de Only Up! no es parkour. Suena tal vez un poco confuso, pero aquí solo podemos saltar y correr, es muy sencillo y no se complica en nada el juego, aunque es una puta locura y el nivel de dificultad es descabellado.
Han habido muchos juegos parecidos, pero no se tratan especialmente de parkour, uno de ellos es Getting Over It, este juego trataba de básicamente lo mismo, escalar y escalar con tu mazo hasta llegar a la cima, bueno Only Up! es de lo mismo pero esta vez tenemos parkour, y claro, la jugabilidad no es tan completa como en Getting Over It. Only Up! es un juegazo, al pricipio de jugarlo no cuenta casi nada, somos un chico que aparentemente somos pobres o vivimos en un barrio, eso es lo que parece porque joder, que sitio tan feo apenas aparecemos hahaha. Luego de eso con tan solo mirar hacia arriba podemos darnos cuenta que esto es una locura.
A ver, lo interesante de este juego en sí es el parkour extremo y mega difícil que haremos, las principales razones de su dificultad son básicamente que estamos haciendo parkour subiendo literal hasta el fucking espacio, y otro punto es que no tenemos barandas o algo así que nos cuidarán de caernos, nope. Aquí solo somos nosotros y nuestras habilidades contra el mundo, o mejor dicho, el parkour. El mapa es inmenso, pero no como lo esperan, es inmenso hacia arriba porque tenemos muchísimo que recorrer mientras hacemos el parkour.
Existen varios puntos inicio para hacer el parkour, puedes elegir el que más te guste, y literal solo debes empezar a subir y escalar, como les digo aquí no podemos hacer gran cosa más que correr, caminar y saltar. Nuestro personaje también cuenta con una habilidad muy interesante la cuál es detener el tiempo, así podremos calcular más preciso nuestros saltos, ya que si estás a más de 5000m de alture querras hacer el salto perfecto, obvio equivocarte no será una opción.
Y lo complejo de este juego es precisamente eso, el parkour que haremos no es nada normal, solo son cosas apiladas encima de otras y literal, no miento al decirles que es muy largo el trayecto hasta el final del juego. Lo peor de todo y lo que realmente hizo famoso a Only Up! es su nivel de complejidad, aquí no tenemos ningún tipo de checkpoint o algo así, nope, ni siquiera se puede guardar la partida, por obvias razones. Solo es un no parar hasta llegar a la cima y listo, eso quiere decir que si llevas unas 5 horas jugando y de repente algún lag, bug, error, mal cálculo o lo que sea te hace caer, empieza a llorar desde ya mismo porque no habrá vuelta atrás. Lo máximo que puedes hacer es intentar planear con tu personaje y caer en alguna de las plataformas de abajo, todo eso para que no caigas hasta abajo del todo (que obviamente no es la idea).
Muchos streamers han denunciado que Only Up! esta trucado, y la verdad yo también lo llegué a pensar, vi muchos saltando de forma anormal, el personaje literal se cae solo, no parece un error ni mucho menos, eso solía pasar en cualquier altura del parkour, pero obviamente es algo muy estresante. También vi como destruían sus teclados, mouses, sillas, mesas, en fin, este juego te saca de quicio. Está cool ya que no había visto algo así en mucho tiempo, un juego que sacara lo más competetitivo de ti.
Otra de la genialidad de Only Up! es el nivel gráfico, es hermoso el juego, y tiene muchos biomas, muchos, realmente puedes ir subiendo y encontrarte con parkours de todo tipo, de chatarra, de carros, de ropa, de basura, de casas, de escaleras, yo que sé, absolutamente de todo se puede encontrar allí. Incluso puedes ver biomas de nieve, arena, lluvia, tierra, desierto, bosque y mucho más, esta muy bien hecho este juego. Only Up! es una puta locura, yo en lo personal nunca lo jugaría, sé que mi teclado acabaría destrozado de tantos golpes y la verdad no quisiera dañarlo, le tengo mucho aprecio.

Yo tampoco jugaría un juego así de estresante, no quisiera que se me cayera el cabello del estres jajaj. Incluso jugando Roblox a veces llego a estresarme mucho jajaj.

It's a bit addictive to watch on stream, or maybe mesmerizing, what I've noticed is that it has a lot of bugs like the character getting stuck in spots where it would be impossible. Also true that falling after so much progress is stressful, still it's a great game.

Efectivamente, es casi el mismo boom solo que cambia el juego, y sí tristemente no podemos, pero creo que no nos perdemos de mucho, solo de evitar reventar nuestro teclado contra el piso hahahaha
