A great game, not so well known
After Minecraft, GTA is the saga that fascinates me the most in this world, an open-world game that allows you to do everything that in real life you can't do, yes, that's where we can unleash all our fury and anger. As a child I had the Nintendo DS, and obviously, as soon as I heard that there was a GTA for Nintendo I decided to get it however I could, unfortunately, the game card of my NDS did not bring GTA, so I went store by store until I got it, I remember it was in the year 2013-2014, and well finally I could get it, yes, it cost me a little expensive, I remember that my mother was a little shocked by the price but she did not care, she decided to please my cravings.
I bought the game card (R4) yes, it was called R4, I don't know how you know it in your countries, but ok, finally I could get my game and I started to play it. I wasn't really expecting much, a GTA a bit cut down on things to do, but fun, and yes, that's what I was able to get. What I expected was that it was all from China, and no, we are in the beautiful Liberty City, but yes, both our character and the other protagonists of the story (not all, but a great majority) are Chinese, that's cool, remember that throughout the saga, there have always been Chinese gangsters everywhere, well, we come to help our uncle in many things, but, as always, our uncle is a son of a bitch who is in a lot of trouble, lol...
Ah, almost forgot, obviously I don't have my Nintendo DS anymore, so I decided to download the game for the phone, and it's still exactly the same. The game is super good, the truth is very complete for what some may expect, it is an open world full of missions to do, Kenny is our uncle, he is not Chinese, but he is the one in charge of giving us missions and one of the main characters of the game. I love that despite how limited the game may be, they still keep things, for example, depending on the area of the map where you are, there will be gangs, these we can identify with colors, purple, green, yellow, etc. And yes, if you happen to mess up their car, they will get off and try to kill you XD.
It's been quite a few years since I've played this game, so I don't remember its story very well, little by little I'll bring it here, and then I'll give my opinion of GTA: Chinatown Wars for the phone. While you are walking, you get close to people and you can hear them talking, it's the same as in the other GTA, we can also steal cars, kill, fight, and a lot of other things, fuck man, it's a GTA. The game is very easy to handle, the story unfolds, and we are offered primary missions, secondary missions, and there are also missions to earn money, just for that.
Something I could notice in the phone version, are the controls, the truth is that they are a bit disgusting, yes, for example, walking is a challenge, and driving a car is a GOD level challenge. Haha, well, leaving jokes behind, the controls are not that good, I don't know if they can be changed in the options, but I hope there's some way to do it, just touching a button crashes the car immediately XD. Well, that would be a bit of a bad thing, a good aspect is the great number of things to do, even, we can sell drugs. The cops are a bit stupid, but they fulfill the function of fucking up your life, if you brush against their car they will shoot you to death.
So far I have completed a few missions, but I'm starting to get into the story of the game, here the mafias and territories are the big problem that we must solve. Ah, something I liked is that when I was taught how to use the weapons, my friend King, poor her, died... Well, I was told that in the garbage containers there are hidden weapons, and it's cool because they give you a kind of puzzle to find it. Also, when trying to steal a parked car (not moving) we must do a puzzle to turn it on, with a screwdriver or connecting the wires, there are many more puzzles but I do not remember them now.
The game looks beautiful day and night (I like it better at night, the lighting of the cars, headlights, and traffic lights are nice). Graphically the game is fine, I think we can't demand anything more, we have blood, cars get damaged, the vast majority of objects in the streets have physics, garbage cans, food stands, headlights, newspapers, etc. Many things, the game is quite alive, you will never find an empty street, or without cars, there is a lot of life. I still don't remember exactly the trade things to do, I don't know if we can have a girlfriend or not (I think so), I guess I'll find out over time, but from what I've seen it's fantastic.
The soundtrack of the game is amazing, I don't know why, but I love Chinese music, of course, it's obvious, the whole setting is Chinese, the music is in accordance with what is happening, besides, we have nice music on the radio, there are for all tastes. The setting of the game is not Chinese, it is more American than Chinese, but there are a lot of Chinese things, and its neighborhoods are also Chinese, in general, this game is cool, soon I will bring you more previews. Un gran juego, no tan conocido
Luego de Minecraft, GTA es la saga que más me fascina en este mundo, un juego mundo abierto que te permite hacer todo lo que en la vida real no puedes hacer, sí, allí es dónde podemos desatar toda nuestra furia e ira. De pequeño tuve la Nintendo DS, y obviamente apenas me enteré que existía un GTA para Nintendo decidí obtenerlo cómo fuese, lamentablemente la tarjeta de juegos de mi NDS no traía GTA, así que fui tienda por tienda hasta conseguirlo, recuerdo que fue en el año 2013-2014, y bueno finalmente pude conseguirlo, eso sí, me costó un poco caro, recuerdo que mi madre se impactó un poco por el precio pero no le importó, decidió complacer mis antojos.
Compré la tarjeta de juego (R4) sí, se llamaba R4, no sé cómo lo conozcan en sus países, pero ok, por fin pude obtener mi juego y empecé a jugarlo. Realmente no me esperaba gran cosa, un GTA un poco recortado de cosas por hacer, pero divertido, y sí, eso fué lo que pude conseguir. Lo que yo me esperaba era que fuese todo de China, y no, estamos en la hermosa Liberty City, pero eso sí, tanto nuestro personaje como los demás protagonistas de la historia (no todos, pero sí una gran mayoría) son de chinos, eso está cool, recordemos que en toda la saga, siempre han habido mafiosos chinos en todas partes, bueno, nosotros venimos a ayudar a nuestro tío en muchas cosas, pero, cómo siempre, nuestro tío es un hijo de puta que esta metido en muchos problemas, lol...
Ah, casi lo olvido, obviamente ya no tengo mi Nintendo DS, así que decidí descargar el juego para el teléfono, y sigue siendo exactamente lo mismo. El juego está super bien, la verdad es muy completo para lo que algunos pueden esperar, es un mundo abierto repleto de misiones por hacer, Kenny es nuestro tío, el no es chino, pero es el encargado de darnos misiones y uno de los protagonistas del juego. Me encanta que a pesar de lo limitado que tal vez el juego pueda estar, siguen mantieniendo cosas, cómo por ejemplo, depende de la zona del mapa en dónde estés, existiran bandas, estas las podremos identificar con los colores, morado, verde, amarillo, etc. Y sí, si de casualidad ensucias un poco su carro, se bajarán e intentarán matarte XD.
Hace bastantes años que no juego este juego, así que no recuerdo muy bien su historia, poco a poco la iré trayendo por acá y luego daré mi opinión de GTA: Chinatown Wars para teléfono. Mientras vas caminando, te acercas a las personas y las puedes escuchar hablar, es lo mismo que en los demás GTA, también podemos robar carros, matar, pelear, y un montón de cosas más, joder man, es un GTA. El juego es muy fácil de manejar, la historia se va desarrollando, y nos van ofreciendo misiones primarias, secundarias, y también existen misiones para ganar dinero, solo para eso.
Algo que pude notar en la versión de teléfono, son los controles, la verdad es que son un poco asquerosos, sí, por ejemplo, caminar es un reto, y manejar un carro es un desafío nivel DIOS. Haha, bueno, dejando atrás las bromas, los controles no están tan bien, no sé si se puedan cambiar en las opciones, pero espero que haya alguna forma de hacerlo, con solo tocar un botón chocas el carro inmediatamente XD. Bueno, eso sería algo un poco malo, un aspecto bueno es la gran cantidad de cosas por hacer, incluso, podemos vender droga. Los policías son un poco estúpidos, pero cumplen la función de joderte la vida, si rozas su carro te acribillarán hasta la muerte.
Hasta los momentos he completado pocas misiones, pero ya empiezo a adentrarme en la historia del juego, aquí las mafias y los territorios son el gran problema que debemos solucionar. Ah, algo que me gustó es que cuándo me enseñaron a utilizar las armas, mi amiga King, pobre de ella, murió... Bueno, me dijeron que en los contenedores de basura existen armas escondidas, y está cool porque te colocan una especie de puzzle para encontrarla. También, al intentar robar un carro estacionado (no en movimiento) debemos realizar un puzzle para prenderlo, con un destornillador o conectando lo cables, existen muchos más puzzles pero no los recuerdo actualmente.
El juego se ve precioso de día y noche (me gusta más la noche, la iluminación de los autos, faros y semaforos es linda). Gráficamente está bien el juego, creo que no podemos exigir más nada, tenemos sangre, los autos se dañan, la gran mayoría de objetos en las calles tienen físicas, botes de basura, puestos de comida, faros, periódicos, etc. Muchas cosas, el juego es bastante vivo, nunca encontrarás una calle vacía, o sin autos, existe mucha vida. Aún no recuerdo exactamente las cosas de oficio por hacer, no sé si podemos tener novia o no (creo que sí), supongo que lo iré descubriendo con el tiempo, pero por lo que he visto está fantástico.
La banda sonora del juego es increíble, no sé porque, pero me encantan las músicas chinas, claro, es obvio, la ambientación total es china, las músicas son acordes con lo que este pasando, además, tenemos lindas músicas en la radio, existen para todos los gustos. La ambientación del juego no es China, es más americana que china, pero si hay bastantes cosas chinas, y sus barrios también los hay, en general, este juego está cool, pronto les traeré más avances. Uno de mis GTA favorito, siento que las críticas negativas que recibió tuvieron que ver con el regreso a la cámara isométrica y no fue una representación objetiva de la calidad del juego.
jugué la versión de PSP y la de Android, ambas son geniales aunque la de PSP sufre un poco al carecer de pantalla táctil. Siempre lo ví como un brillante spin-off a GTA IV, la estética es genial, adoro sus mecánicas de juego y su música.
Si, tal vez la cámara isométrica no fue la mejor opción, pero aún así el juego es muy bueno y no hay que quitarle mérito. Si, es muy parecido a GTA IV en muchas cosas, brutaaaal este game
Uno de los GTA que me llama bastante la atención, tanto por su estética como por el concepto de ser un juego se DS, y sobretodo porque va de chinos xd
jajajaja, si, y con todo y eso es buenísimo, muy buen acierto de Rockstar en elegir la temática china para los protagonistas

Este no era de Nintendo DS?. Es bastante bueno la verdad, es un poco diferente de un gta, pero a mí en lo partícular si me gustó bastante.

Este es sin dudas el GTA al que más le he metido horas mientras jugaba con el Nintendo DS, creo haber llegado bastante lejos. Lo más interesante para mí era el negocio de la droga, podías hacer bastante dinero con eso (era bastante entretenido) y además el estilo que tenía lo hacía bastante único, algún día tengo pensado bajarme la versión para celulares para revivir parte de mi infancia.
Hazlo man, por lo que he visto es exactamente lo mismo, seeee la droga es brutal como la vendes aquí, gran economía se puede crear, stonksssss
Bro este GTA es muy bueno, lo jugué en DS en su momento y ese toque de los primeros de la saga de una vista panorámica desde arriba fue brutal además de los detalles de "hackear" el sistema de encendido del carro que le dan más realismo al juego que simplemente triangulo y entras al auto que mágicamente siempre está abierto. Me acuerdo haberlo pasado pero siendo sincero fue hace bastante, estaba en eso de 6to o 5to grado haha así que no me acuerdo mucho de la trama. Buen post dude!
Si man, justo ahora andaba jugando y me tope con más puzzles de encendido de carros hahaha, están brutales, lo único malo que estoy viendo es que no es tan largo, pero ok, no podemos pedir más xD, gracias papi😘
Este GTA siempre me ha parecido interesante por su jugabilidad y por su estilo, siendo honestos no me llama mucho la atención, pero si tengo la oportunidad de probarlo lo haría sin pensar.

Este GTA me recuerda mucho al GTA Advance de la consola Game Boy Advance, uno bastante bueno con una buena historia y un estilo de cámara muy distinto al de los otros GTA, yo diría que aquí fue el comienzo de esta gran saga, fue un bueno en su momento y yo no paraba de jugarlo hasta que conoci el GTA Vice City.
Es verdad, desde allí cambiaron la forma de hacer un GTA y revolucionaron con GTA Vice City, está súper cool
Uff juegazo, yo también lo tenía en el R4, yo lo terminé, buena historia, 'buenas' ilustraciones acompañando la trama, recomendado y lástima no tuvo el boom de los otros GTA, sería genial un remaster de este GTA con vista en tercera persona.
Eso es lo que estaba pensando, un remaster debe ser épico, las ilustraciones son 10/10 y si, la historia es muy buena aunque un poco corta pero bue, no podemos exigir demasiado a un GTA de NDS

Yes! You should buy it from the play store, much easier than getting an emulator. You can also pirate it, they teach you how on Youtube, greetings mate!
Anotado a la lista de juegos por jugar, nunca he tenido un DS y desde siempre he sido fan de los juegos 3D de la saga, pero luego de ver este post creo que voy a terminar descargando el juego aunque sea en emulador jaja. Saludos
