Este videojuego lo considero único dentro de todos los títulos de Dragon Ball, se trata de un Beat 'em up (yo contra el barrio) de movimiento lateral donde debemos eliminar a todos los enemigos que nos aparezcan en la pantalla, además de tener en cada nivel un jefe especial el cual debemos de eliminar para poder avanzar a la siguiente fase.
I consider this videogame unique among all the Dragon Ball titles, it's a Beat 'em up (me against the neighborhood) of lateral movement where we must eliminate all the enemies that appear on the screen, besides having in each level a special boss which we must eliminate to be able to advance to the next stage.

Su historia comienza justamente cuando Goku conoce a Bulma y culmina con el enfrentamiento de Piccolo Daimaō o también conocido como King Piccolo. También tenemos la posibilidad de jugar el modo historia con Krillin, esto indica que el juego es totalmente rejugable.
