Not sure how your Monday looks like but mine is definitely overwhelmed with new projects to handle and it's already the 4th week in a row since I had no days off, not even at weekend!
I know, I know, you gotta love being a freelancer, especially when you have a normal job from 9 to 5 and think that being able to work on your own is a cool thing. But in reality not having a certain tomorrow, makes you always end up working as much as possible forgetting about your free time or normal life, like visiting your family, spending time with your loved ones and friends or simply laying in bed for at least in hour without checking your emails.
So, with this moment of complaining online as it's the single place I can do it without being judged (I hope), let's jump into today's week gaming post which I thought about having a new series pop on your feeds.
I actually had this planned since I got back into sharing my gameplays but since it took a while to bring some new series on my YouTube channel and also have all those videos ready for here as well, I'm only able to diversify my gaming posts more starting with today.
So, even if what I previously shared had nothing to do with this series, which happens pretty often being a versatile person when it comes to gaming, this series will cover mysterious crimes and lots of twists that I bet no one will be able to anticipate.
Actually, it might be easier for some of you if you've previously read the Sherlock Holmes series of books, but personally, I have never read the books but only played some of the games, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One being the 9th game of the series where we play with the Sherlock's son who's name is the same of his father.
Fun fact, while the other games had a pretty basic approach to the crime cases, Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is mainly based on solving the mysterious death of Sherry's mother, but for which, you need to get through all the other 4 chapters of the main story. Yet a thing that I didn't meet in any other games played so far, but definitely a cool feature that keeps the gamers focused on playing the whole game.
Obviously, even if I already completed the game, I didn't start uploading the videos with the first that is also the last chapter as that will reveal a bit of the whole game from the beginning, so today's episode is basically the 2nd chapter of the game, but an important piece for the overall puzzle we have to complete.
This starts pretty innocently with the intention of returning a cane to its owner I found in the hotel, but as no situation in this game can be completed without a crazy twist about a mysterious crime, so does this happen in this chapter.
It's about the wife of the cane's owner who was found dead, and even if for some of you this might seem brutal if you watch the gameplay, if you continue checking this series you'll see that there is always an even worse situation.
I'll try to stay away from providing too many details about the case, the evidence and possibly criminals as no one enjoys spoilers, but what I can say is that each of the main chapters of this game is close to a movie, both in length and intensity.
Hence why, if you enjoy this kind of content and have some free time, you can give this a watch and share your thoughts about the case and the solution found to it afterwards, because there are lots of crazy twists and moments which obviously make things even harder than anticipated.
Either way, I promise there is a big satisfaction when we collect all the proofs and link them to each other, finishing everything with deciding the future of the criminal. The funny thing is that we can also fail to catch the actual criminal and convict the innocent by mistake, lol! And the whole story might also be different for each player based on the dialogue picks you make.
Funny how many things are born from a simple cane returned to his owner, right?!
