Sherlock Holmes Chapter One - The Muse from Abroad (Part 3 Gameplay)

Does anyone remember this game and series of Let's plays at all? I sure do! 🙂

In fact, even though I consider all the Sherlock Holmes series of games quite underrated, the efforts the developers put into creating all the hard cases to solve which at times makes your brain work more than a math equation does, still make it worth being played and supported even for the sake of owning the collection in your library of games.

This is actually a good reminder to myself that I still need some of the older titles and the last game to complete my series on Steam, but hey, that will happen sooner or later!

Today's case though, is a bit different from the others. The first thing not happening as in general is that we are asked to visit Vogel and make a quick investigation of what happened with one piece of art that is missing, having most of the art gallery vandalized.

Now, even though I won't try to reveal any spoilers of the game, I'd like you to pay attention to the name mentioned by Vogel as that's actually part of the story too. This makes me remember how much I disliked Vogel as he was a very mysterious and weird character of the game, never being sure if he was on the good or bad side.

Now, do you remember when I told you to pay attention to the name of Boniface Mercurio? Well, that's the main character of today's case, because he's our victim.

As you might have already guessed if you've seen my previous gameplays from Sherlock Holmes Chapter One, most of the cases we need to solve out, include a victim.

The interesting part on this one though, is another new thing which Sherlock had to do, namely, to get a costume like that of the victim in order to make it into the building and investigate the case. Which turned out really close! And... not to mention again how much I love the moments when I get the chance to customize my characters, lol.

So... if you thought that this case is not hard enough, keep in mind that there is going to be another dead body to deal with, which still belongs to the same case!

Now, if you think what can be the connection between a dead body, an artist and a poster from an art gallery missing... keep in mind that there are a lot of details to go through, and quite a lot of possible suspects to discuss with. Where, obviously, depending on the dialogues you'll pick, they could bring new twists to the game, as well as make your gaming experience different from mine. This is yet another aspect I love about this game.

With the risk of having a way shorter gaming post than what I like to share on here, I'd like to stop as I really try to stay away from sharing spoilers or breaking one's curiosity or experience of playing this game at the same time I share my let's plays.

But what I want to say instead, is that, along with the long episode and all the details making the case even harder to solve out, there are really plenty of interesting twists, people to speak with, as well as experiences that you can only get to taste in the Sherlock Holmes series of games.

So whether you enjoy detective games or not, or have the patience to go up and forth with so many suspects and investigations, the freedom you feel at the end of the case and when you get to make your final pick when deciding who the guilty one is, makes it totally worth it!

That looks fun! I didn't know they even have this game too. How much are they on steam?

Not sure, I got it for around 13 bucks on sale but there is a whole series of 10 games from Sherlock Holmes actually. Definitely recommend it and every single one of the series ☺️

The storyline of this game is really interesting. I love how it has to do with an artist, dead body and all
Nice one!

It really is! Takes you through all kind of moods and challenges.
