You are right, people should be hired for their merits and their ability, not act the way they are doing, it will not bring improvements to the video games, nor in quality for the fans. They will cause your downfall that way. And it really is a shame that they are so lost from reality.
It really is, and I think we are going to see Blizzard pushing a lot more Social Justice Issues in their games. All Blizzard is doing is virtue signaling.
It's happening a lot like in these Netflix movies that they don't care how good an actor or actress is, they just take them for some characteristics to say they're supposedly not racist or something. It's sad because they're not evaluating everyone's skills, and it's really ugly if Blizzard is doing this just to improve their reputation.
I believe that is exactly what they are doing. They started making all these changes when the sexual harassment cases came to light. Of course you are going to have people saying that skin color will have nothing to do with the hiring practise, but it will as it says as much in her job description.
