Happy day to you all, how are you feeling today? I was away for two days. I was part of the official 2023 presidential election in my country. It was a very crucial moment because the citizens want a change of government; the recent administration is very harsh to the citizens in the sense that inflation to everything in the market, insecurity in the country, hunger, and many more.
I will talk about a new reward card given to you a few weeks ago, the name of this card is DUMARKE ORC. It is a neutral monster, i.e. it can be used with any summoner in splinterlands.
From the level 1 to the max-level, Dumacke orc has 1 health; this makes this monster vulnerable to use in many cases.
The armor is incredible and makes it fit to use when lower mana is given in battles; the armor makes it useful when melee and range attack are only allowed in the battles and range attack is not allowed.
The shield ability makes dumacke Orc the best monster to lead the battle. The shield reduced the damage done by melee and range attacks.
This was the reason I used the monster in the first position in this battle. Just as you know, Dumacke Orc cannot attack in any other positions rather than first position in this battle. The Shield ability made this monster so strong to eliminate: if I mistakenly placed any monster without shield ability, it would have been eliminated in this battle.
Retaliate ability: the retaliate ability can only be activated in level 5; it requires combination of 60 Dumacke Orc with summoners that can activate it. Retaliate ability only attacked melee monsters but not all the time when a melee monsters attack monster with retaliate ability; it is only when the retaliate ability have a chance of attacking attackers. This ability is so cool because it damages the attackers by cutting off its lifespan.
My encounter with monsters with retaliates ability was so bad: there were times I could not destroy 3 of my opponents’ monsters.
Thorn’s ability: this ability can only be activated in level 9 and is very useful against melee attacks, since all melee attacks must have body contact with the target. The thorns’ ability does not have any power against range and magic monsters since they did not have body contact with them.
✅WHAT IS THE BEST RULE TO USE DUMARKE ORC?✅
Dumacke Orc is a shield monster and it very useful in the following battle rules: 👉👉👉
EQUALIZER: Demacke Orc have only one health, when equalizer rule is given. Equalizer makes all the health of all monsters equal irrespective of the initial health. Equalizer rule chose the monster with the highest health, and other monsters have the same health.
I was very sure that my opponent would monster with high number of health, and he choose Djinn Oshannus with 11 health. The rest of the monsters had 11 health due to the equalizer rule. This 11 health made it difficult for opponent monsters to destroy Dumacke Orc in this battle.
SUPER SNEAK RULE: it shouldn’t be super sneak with opportunity ability. If the opportunity rule is also applied, Dumacke Orc would be first eliminated due to low health. To enjoy Dumacke Orc in battle in super sneak rule.
To enjoy Dumacke Orc in super sneak rule: it must be a super snake rule with range and melee monsters are allowed; magic monsters are not allowed in the supper sneak rule; weak magic is allowed- where magic monsters will attack the armor before health; and super sneak without opportunity. All these will enable Dumacke Orc to last longer in the battle.
Another reason why dumacke is very useful in the super sneak is the shield ability: the shield ability makes this monster important as the first or last monster in the lineup so that it can delay as it reduces melee and range attack.
WEAK AND ENRAGE RULE: Dumacke Orc can only attack in first position in most of the battles except when the rules allow melee monsters to attack in any position.

What doesn’t kill you: All monsters have the enrage ability.
Heavy Hitters: All monsters have the knock out ability.
Equalizer: The initial health of all monsters is equal to that of the monster on either team with the highest base health.

✅MONSTERS ARRANGEMENT✅
👉👉👉👉
✅DUMACKE ORC✅: ⭐⭐⭐The best position for this monster was the best position. That was the best position to see how powerful dumacke was in this battle; there was no position rather than first position suitable for this monster. The first position was the position dumacke able to:
Attacked;
The shield ability was effective and;
Enrage ability was useful.
Those were my major reasons for placing dumacke orc in the first position. From the beginning of the battle to the end, dumacke was not eliminated despite the fact that my opponent was very strong.
✅ICE PIXIE✅: ⭐⭐This magic monster can attack in any position; I knew if dumacke was eliminated in the first position, ice pixie would be able to lead the battle.
To be able to manage 24 mana cost given in this battle, it was necessary for me to use monsters with lower mana cap such as ice pixie.
Ice pixie allowed me to use other monsters that were very effective in this battle. If i used a monster with higher mana, i wouldn’t have the chance to accommodate other monsters in this battle: probably I would have used monsters with one and zero mana at the second to the last and last positions.
✅MERDAALIN GUARDIAN✅: ⭐⭐This was the best method to keep monsters in the first position in this battle. Without merdaali guardian, Dumacke Orc would not last in this battle, it would have been eliminated in the second round of this battle.
At round 5 when the enrage ability was activated on tide bitter and the melee was increased to 5; my thought was that Dunacke Orc would be destroyed. But the healing ability of merdaali guardian kept the monster indestructible in this battle.
✅DOCTOR BLIGHT✅:⭐⭐ I needed Doctor Blight in this battle so bad. It would have been very difficult for me to kill Djinn Oshannus in this battle because all my magic attack monsters were missing the target due to phase ability; and void ability was reducing the damage done by magic monsters.
The moment poison ability activated on Djinn Oshannus, it damaged two health each round which made it easy for me to eliminate it. Without this poison ability, it would have been very difficult for me to destroy this monster.
✅SPIRIT HOARDER✅:⭐ hmm! Since i get defeated from the back most of the of the time in this type of battle. I thought my opponent would also come in that direction; that was the reason i selected spirit hoarder to keep on healing the health of monster from the back.
Unfortunately, there was no sneaky monster in my opponent lineup.
✅PELACOR BANDIT✅: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐This was to attack from the back position; my opponent used monster with dodge ability as the last monster which made it difficult to eliminate.
In conclusion. Dumacke Orc is a good monster to use, but you need to read the battle to know whether the monster is suitable for the battle or not. For me, I have figured out the rules to use this monster and I will continue using it in those battle rules.
The position I would like to use Dumacke Orc next is the last position when super sneak rule is given.
