Hive Gaming Curation Report

Welcome to another installment of Hive Gaming Curation.

With these reports we provide transparency of the curated content in collaboration with @ocd and at the same time highlight the content we liked the most in our community. The rewards are used for the curators, moderators, and various other activities related to the Hive Gaming Community.

@dkmathstats shared a blog about shopping for Pokémon cards in Toronto and participating in a local tournament. They reported their experiences of visiting different stores and buying cards instead of the booster boxes, which seem to be quite expensive right now. They reported on winning 2 of their three games in the tournament and showed the packs they won. You can read the strategies they used against different opponents in the lengthy blog post.

Have you ever seen the contents of the Uncharted 4 Collector's Edition? If not, you should check out @raizel's post where he showcased the things he got as part of the Uncharted 4 Libertalia Edition. It contains multiple goodies like the Nathan Drake statue, a cool steel case with detailed map imprint, an art book, plus the DLC content. The post shared their nostalgia for the game and how it felt to get their hands on this special addition. You can read the post to know the full experience.

@pinkgeerough talked about a new pet raising/creature collecting game called Bugaboo Pocket. He made a YouTube video talking about the mechanics of the game, ranging from raising these bugs to mini-games. There are a lot of customizable options available, like hats and shiny variants. The author reviewed the game and liked the game overall.

The internet is busy talking about Switch 2 after the announcement and reveal from Nintendo. @borderline.babe gave their opinion about the upcoming changes from the Switch to Switch 2. They liked the better display features, bigger storage capacity and Silksong confirmation news, but didn't like some stuff too, including the voice chat feature, prices of new games, especially the 'physical' copy.
